I think NYC is in big trouble.
The subway, taxis, dense housing, tall office buildings with elevators, and crowded streets and restaurants are going to keep this thing alive for them well beyond the tine when the rest of the country has started to relax a bit.
I went there on vacation last year.
I looked up the profile of businesses there.
Most of the work done in Manhattan these days involves computer terminals (banking, insurance, etc)
It can certainly be done cheaper somewhere else.
