Been a Dan fan as far back as I can remember.

One of the greatest debut albums ever, so many good songs on that one, obviously everybody knows “Do It Again” and “Reelin’ in the Years”
But there’s also: Dirty Work, Midnite Cruiser, Turn That Heartbeat Over Again, Kings....not a dud on the whole album.
Saw Steely Dan just about a year ago, well the members that are still around anyway. Nice show. If I recall they were touring with the doobie brothers. I didn’t follow SD when I was young, but I heard their songs on the radio. I enjoy the hits more today than back then.
That was Countdown to Ecstasy the next album.
I love this song. I remember listening to this on am radio when I was rolling newspapers early in the morning for delivery as a paper boy when I was probably 13 or 14. One of those that has stood the test of time. Brings back a lot of memories now that the song rings true!
