That’s pretty neat.
With the property we just bought and all the woodlands around it, we could use something on woodland management and wildlife management.
In particular I want to know how to attract possums as they are tick vacuums.

That’s the Catch 22.
We do something to slow the spread and it ends up not being as bad as the dire predictions of what would happen if we didn’t do anything to slow the spread, and then the flubros come along and say ”See, it wasn’t as bad as expected so we didn’t need to shut down after all.”
Not being willing to admit that it wasn’t as bad because of the precautions we took that they’re saying weren’t needed.
You just can’t win with some people.
I rest my case.

Just found out my sister was in Spain planning to go on to Morocco when the return home order was given. She said it was chaotic at the airports, with routes being changed so people couldn’t fly direct as they had planned and crowds crowds crowds.
She is now doing self-isolation and has been back for 21 days so is probably OK. Has been in the apartment for two weeks straight and is wondering how to do groceries with the services all tied up. She has a car but no mask.
But it’s not really just a matter of touching your face.
It’s the mucous membranes.
You can’t touch those as that’s the viron‘s main point of entry, not just the skin.
What’s supposed to be really good for chest congestion is old fashioned onion poultices.
I’m looking for habitat info to attract them.
But I will keep the Meow Mix in mind.
I’m happy for the report on your niece- she was getting prayers from several of us here I know. The relief in your family has to be great!

Very much! The prayers worked. She told her mom, "she felt like she was knocking on death's door at one time." She is now home under a self-quarantine.

Every country on the graph below is looking better tonight. If this keeps up, I'm going to have to revise my projections.
Daily percentage of new Corona virus deaths to previous day's total by country. 25% = total deaths double every 3 days, 20% = every 4 days, 15% = every 5 days, 10% = about 1 week, 5% = about 2 weeks.
We had a kitty kennel, that we had kept on our back porch for our elderly cat to get some fresh air/sunshine, that had a bowl of Meow Mix, refreshed daily.
We’d bring the cat in, and, would notice that the bowl was either empty or scattered....INSIDE the kennel, on most mornings.
I checked our cams...and, sure enough....Mr Possum would REACH down, into the grid of the wire kennel, with his little possum fingers, and scoop up handfuls of MM.
If he missed...he’d just knock the bowl over.
Too funny.
