The reality of the virus itself. To be accurate the virus has come in with a whimper compared to what we were warned about.

The economic effects are not good. I’m fine. Wife is fine for now. My nephew was a flight school trainer. He had to go back to working for the paving company he worked for prior to that. We have friends in day care without jobs. No one is bringing their kids to day care.

“Why are people still going to the store every few days? That’s insane. Buy enough to last til summer and don’t go back again.”

I have been telling my wife, that grocery store will be come dangerous to visit. That will be the only common place where every body goes in about a week from now in my area.

We have enough to last us until late June.

Nor am I willing to sacrifice lives just so some else can profit financially from it.

But at some point people will go back to work and there will still be COVID-19 cases? And there may be localized outbreaks.

Fauci is another ivory tower liberal who either doesn’t understand or doesn’t care that average Americans have to work to feed their kids, and many of those no longer have jobs.

Some other medical ass hat was on Fox News yesterday saying we need extreme measures, like police driving through every neighbourhood and shooing people back into their homes, breaking up parties, ect...

I’m pretty sure that ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED FROM IT don’t agree with you, Sam.

Still works in my neck of the woods. I put usually combine it with valbazen tho.

It is also what I’ve used for my dog’s heartworm preventative for the past 10 years.

It is a back and forth, give and take. There will likely multiple periods of opening and shutting down. I thought that was already known?

It is a balance.

A balancing act, I should say.

Haven't used it in years. Stopped when I had a ewe come down with a bad case of barber pole worm. Rolled back her upper eyelid and it was white (should have been pink).

Saved her with a loading dose of Valbazen.

I have a different vision of the world.

I have no problem if China wants to laugh at me—I don’t give a flying f&^% about their opinion.

If I want their opinion I will ask for it.

New Orleans Mayor Cantrell said the city should expect to see more deaths; masks for public recommended

By Kendra Smith-Parks | April 3, 2020 at 3:29 PM CDT - Updated April 3 at 5:01 PM

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Mayor LaToya Cantrell said that five out of 100 people that have tested positive for COVID-19 have died, and people should expect to see more deaths.

“This virus has demonstrated that it is in control, not human beings. We cannot defy the laws of nature and expect to survive,” Cantrell said.

Dr. Jennifer Avegno, Director of New Orleans Health Department, said that the city is recommending people who need to go out into public should wear masks. Not the N95 masks, but the minimum protection masks that people commonly see on the street.

Right. It is regional and out county extension office says to keep using what works in your area. In my area, this still works, and I had fecals run in February. As nice as Famancha is, it is not replacement for having an actual count from time to time.

The CDC guidance for everyone to wear non-medical masks is a big game-changer.

Shame on the CDC. Some people on this thread were saying for weeks that masks enforce certain behaviors, as long as proper training is provided. The shaming of people that had and were wearing N95 masks (as that's all they had but THEY DID HAVE THEM) was uncalled for. There was some of that on these threads. Disgraceful.

"That simply was not possible until today imho."

Monkey muffins. It certainly was possible.

Walmart limiting customers to 20% of capacity.

That will make things pretty unpredictable for those of us driving several miles to the nearest WM, 20 miles in my case.

Famancha

That reminds me, I need to get another FAMACHA card. I think as long as you have been trained the first time, they will keep sending you replacement cards every few years.

Here we go again with Debra using the word granular. Still have no idea what the heck she means

And granularity, whatever that means. I think it's just the bureaucrat egghead's way of saying a lot of detail.
