I would like to know how many of those in ICU have diabetes or per diabetes!!!
How about the complete death of thousands of businesses OR the death of the entire economy are thousands of businesses that people have worked endless hours to create and make successful are not worth ANYTHING!!!
Thanks for the HBO freebies info. My cousin was just telling me about some movie, on HBO, that “you just gotta see!”....lol.
This nursing home situation just gets sadder and sadder.
Nothing too groundbreaking here, just more confirmation:

Abstract
Lack of evidence on SARS-CoV-2 transmission dynamics has led to shifting isolation guidelines between airborne and droplet isolation precautions. During the initial isolation of 13 individuals confirmed positive with COVID-19 infection, air and surface samples were collected in eleven isolation rooms to examine viral shedding from isolated individuals. While all individuals were confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2, symptoms and viral shedding to the environment varied considerably. Many commonly used items, toilet facilities, and air samples had evidence of viral contamination, indicating that SARS-CoV-2 is shed to the environment as expired particles, during toileting, and through contact with fomites. Disease spread through both direct (droplet and person-to-person) as well as indirect contact (contaminated objects and airborne transmission) are indicated, supporting the use of airborne isolation precautions.

Im not saying that its not hard, but I refuse to believe that the death toll from a few months off is going to kill as many as letting the virus run unchecked.
= =
Agree.
Where are the links/studies to that?
I haven’t seen them.
Talk about spreading gloom and doom....geez.
I think there’s another thread for that :-)

I haven’t seen any peer reviewed studies on that, or those numbers, kit cat.
Have you?
If so, please start a thread with that detailed (sourced links) info, so others can see it, as well.
Thanks.
I don’t think that’s going to happen. The sad thing that nobody is saying is that this may force us to become a socialist nation. Each according to his need.
It could come down to “either sociaism, or we become inhumane and just let people die.”
Trump thinks we can build a capitalist nation back up again, and I pray to God he is right, but I don’t think we are going to let people suffer and die on principle.
With high number of new cases and fatalities, L.A. County emerges as coronavirus epicenter in California
LOL!
Thank you for the laf, G_W!
Almost 2,000 new cases in Michigan today.
Wait, wait, who is winning here?
That rooster looks pretty shrewd.
That is my beloved boy dog.
I am so glad he came to spend some time with me.
Doesn’t matter. If one of the kids puts COVID on a dog, then you touch the dog, absent-mindedly wiping sweat off you face afterward with your hand . . .
Just sayin’.
When is CAs peak supposed to hit?
Anyone know?
I have so many friends and relatives in NY City and State.
The numbers today are almost unbearable.
I hope and pray they get a break soon.
What are your friends/family saying, from NYC/NY?
Are they able to get out? Get supplies, etc?
God help all our vets in Homes and Hospitals.
They need our prayers now, more than ever. It is not just he old ones who are dying.
Lord, let not a single one of them die alone.
