I do not watch Cuomo. But I am curious, are the questions from "news" as hostile as the ones I see directed at Trump?
No.
No, the reporters attack Trump at the Cuomo press conferences and ask Cuomo to comment. So far he has refused to take the bait.
“Nipples” is being considered to replace Biden as the Democratic nominee. No way will the MSM give him anything like hard time at his pressers.
He is a democrat and Biden is senile
Its disgusting to watch Cuomo. The Gov of my home state. He never has gotten a tough or combative question, because the reporter who would do that would be heckled and ridiculed. Cuomo announced finally New York is broke. Has been for a very long time. 6 billion in debt. A corrupt and poorly run Socialist state. The media is deadly silent about this too!!!
I watch the NY pressers just to gauge this, and I can tell you that it’s no where near the same. tHEY WILL ASK WHAT WAS THE GREATEST LESSON HIS FATHER TAUGHT HIM TO GET THROUGH THIS CRISIS. (Sorry about my fat finger caps lock strike.) Or similar questions. Nothing about the child sex perverts he had released from jail, or how bad the models he was using differed from reality. His staff seems inept at answering questions, which seems to suit him just fine as he gets to answer everything.
Maybe one can ask him where his fellow demonicRATS found the money to give him and themselves s fat pay raise but they can’t find the money to buy respirators.
Not even close.
“Nipples”, I like that.
Trump should have him walk through a metal detector turned up to “11”, the first chance he gets.
Where the fires start might tell us something.
How can they justify a pay raise when their state is $6 Billion in debt?.....................
Hey, you try spending billions and billions of dollars. It’s not as easy as it sounds.
He uses a great backdrop with beautiful wood paneling (part of his chair or back of wall?) behind him and two large flags (USA and NY) to either side. He is seated.
There are no shouted questions. The reporters ask reasonable questions, the answers to which are things that the public would like to know. There are no abrasive, hostile voices or aggressive body language with pointing fingers aimed at him. There are no accusations or some say questions. The press is on his team.
Even Cuomos voice is getting less whiney. He says a lot of blah, blah, blah and his answers are not challenged, even when they are not true.
I'm no fan of Fredo Andy (all Cuomos are Fredo), but he's resisted following them down their rabbit holes of Trump criticism and conspiracy.
He tends to stick to the issues during this crisis. He just says things repeatedly and slowly so I can't watch him for long. He's ponderous AF.
Actually they challenge him gently and he’s on the defensive a lot but he talks and talks and talks.
I had it on and it made me nervous. He said that New York should get all the supplies before anyone else. I told him to drop dead and shut the TV. The Hazleton PA area is having a bad time thanks to all the New Yorkers who come back and forth.
The payrise story is a year old.
“but they cant find the money to buy respirators.”
It is probably more accurate to say that they can’t find respirators to buy.
I watch his pressers daily and it’s nothing more than a love-fest. The press (looks like mostly local) ask him softball questions which usually are set-ups for him to bash Trump.
While he doesn’t take the bait directly, he ALWAYS finds fault with the way the Feds are handling the crisis as if he is a spectator and has no culpability himself.
If you can get over the self-aggrandizement, his daughters sitting next to him or his verbal Skype visits with Chris, it’s all about “I need...I want...It’s not my fault..”
