Beyond that the Mainstream media, particularly cable news networks, is so heavily dependent on revenue from Big-Pharma ads that their reporting is now little more than a Pharmacuetical Industry infomercial. What other commercials do you ever see on CNN or Fox News?
You will never see reporting on cable news about complications from vaccines, the dangerous side-effects of Statins and anti-depressants or any other topic that might lower those Big Pharma stock dividends.
Every drug has side effects. I am not sure why they advertise any drug on TV since they have to mention the side effects which are often worse than what they are treating. But no context on what the chances are of the side effects.
And to not take any treatment at all has a more dangerous side effect.
As does every other prescription drug ever created.

To all medical professionals around the world:
My name is Dr. Zev Zelenko and I practice medicine in Monroe, NY. For the last 16 years, I have cared for approximately 75% of the adult population of Kiryas Joel, which is a very close knit community of approximately 35,000 people in which the infection spread rapidly and unchecked prior to the imposition of social distancing.
As of today my team has tested approximately 200 people from this community for Covid-19, and 65% of the results have been positive. If extrapolated to the entire community, that means more than 20,000 people are infected at the present time. Of this group, I estimate that there are 1500 patients who are in the high-risk category (i.e. >60, immunocompromised, comorbidities, etc).
Given the urgency of the situation, I developed the following treatment protocol in the pre-hospital setting and have seen only positive results:
1. Any patient with shortness of breath regardless of age is treated.
2. Any patient in the high-risk category even with just mild symptoms is treated.
3. Young, healthy and low risk patients even with symptoms are not treated (unless their circumstances change and they fall into category 1 or 2).
My out-patient treatment regimen is as follows:
1. Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for 5 days
2. Azithromycin 500mg once a day for 5 days
3. Zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for 5 days
The rationale for my treatment plan is as follows. I combined the data available from China and South Korea with the recent study published from France (sites available on request). We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell. Regarding the use of azithromycin, I postulate it prevents secondary bacterial infections. These three drugs are well known and usually well tolerated, hence the risk to the patient is low.
Since last Thursday, my team has treated approximately 350 patients in Kiryas Joel and another 150 patients in other areas of New York with the above regimen.
Of this group and the information provided to me by affiliated medical teams, we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations. In addition, I have not heard of any negative side effects other than approximately 10% of patients with temporary nausea and diarrhea.
In sum, my urgent recommendation is to initiate treatment in the outpatient setting as soon as possible in accordance with the above. Based on my direct experience, it prevents acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), prevents the need for hospitalization and saves lives.

Listen to the physicians who are on the from lines. Listen to Dr. Oz, and Dr. Zelenko of the Hassidic Jewish physician community of New York.
They all - the media critics of the drug - pretend that the doctors who might consider using the drug know nothing about the side effects and nothing about the possible side effects for patients with certain conditions. They act as if the doctors are immoral and cannot and do not weigh those considerations, and certainly don’t let their patients know about them. The media reporter-critics on this issue are the immoral ones.
Uh. That’s why it’s a prescription and NOT OTC.

You know, just about EVERY drug will have bad effects against SOMEONE somewhere. Any wonder over have of a drug commercial on TV consists of warnings. this is more handwringing and crap to put down this treatment method.

Actually I often see the side effects shown in small print below the TV screen. Unless you freeze it, you can’t even read it.
The media has been digging for things like this. They will gladly let people die just so they can criticize Trump.

It was ok for the Africans and other 3rd world people fro the last 6 or 7 decades, but not us. We can’t except any risk. I say racist!
Just watching all the TV commercials for all the new tongue twister meds popping up weekly, the side effects they list take longer than the description of what the med is supposed to help. If people actually read every prescription warning packet, they would never take the drug as it's always worded to scare the bejeesus out of the patient.
Aspirin has side effects too! Danger danger Aaaiieeeee! Run for the hills!

Most side affects gotten from taking medications are usually based on how long one is taking them. Long term therapy produces most side affects.
With the use of the Choloquins they are only taken for short term therapy - suggested 5 day regimen. Odds of getting most of the side affects possible are slim to none.
Talk about halve truths being worse than lies — this is an example.
