A popular DJ in the United Kingdom, who had been battling leukemia for two years before testing positive for coronavirus, died Friday after telling doctors to go and “save someone else’s life."
Liam Downing, 30, had just celebrated his birthday a few days earlier with family members at his hospital room. He came down with an "infection" on March 16, according to a GoFundMe page created by his sister Laura.
She said that COVID-19 started to attack his body and made his condition deteriorate at a much faster rate.

This man sounds like a truly “good man.”
My wife has Stage 4 cancer and my son has terminal brain cancer. This Chinese virus would wipe them out in an instant.
But like you say, it will be reported as a loss due to the King Flu instead of cancer.
He passed on March 27th.

Very sorry to hear that.
Lost a sister to cancer some years back. Not a pleasant experience. Thankfully, it was long before this coronavirus hysteria. We were able to hold a proper funeral and everything, without some governor or some jack booted police coming in the shut us down for violating “social distancing” fiats.
Know someone who has advanced Alzheimer’s disease and a Corona infection while in hospice care. The person with medical power of attorney wants the infection to be fought at all costs.
I wish I had something to say except that I am sorry for this enormous burden you and your family are suffering. Godspeed.
My wife had stage 4 and beat it. Tell her don’t give up. Keep a positive attitude and fight it.
Nobody is giving up here. My son is trying an experimental drug and he also goes to an out of state hospital once a month for an experimental t-cell infusion procedure.
Stage-4 cancer is no longer the death sentence it used to be just a decade ago. My wife was diagnosed stage-4 for over 2 years now and still doing well. Only bad thing is the chemo treatments every 3 weeks which knocks her down for 4-5 days. But then she recovers for the next 2+ weeks. She enjoyed a cruise during last week of February with no problem. She timed it during the 3rd week after treatment when she is feeling the best. Best luck to your family.
There was an article in Daily Mail about this guy. The headline said he died of CV but in the article itself, it said he had tested negative for the virus. He had pneumonia. Very sad the man passed away. Not happy that his death is being used as an “I told you so” to bring about more compliance.
