Not meaning to downplay the seriousness of this nasty bug (although I do believe the hysteria/hype is overblown), but we get alerts when anyone shows flu symptoms.

The outrage is based on fake news. Liberty has responded. There is no evidence they did anything unsafe. No students on campus have or had covid.

Students coming from hotspots were isolated or they were not allowed back.

Note, Covid-19 is real, a friend’s GF passed away this morning in Paris (40-50 yo, healthy and active until the covid-19 got her). But if precautions are taken, orgs can be safe w/o having to completely shutdown.

Certainly, a small isolated college with 100% residential dorms can be safe. University of Michigan, probably not.
