Yesterday's thread here:

We’re obviously better at printing money than they are at manufacturing masks. And we can send our money electronically - try that on for size, C.C.P...
Yes. Now we have airplanes to move infected people across an ocean in a few hours. In the days of ship transport, the infected would die before the contagion could pass the ocean spans. The same applies within land masses with planes and cars that can move 1000 miles in day with ease.
With the Taiwanese, South Korean, Japanese and Czech examples with everyone wearing masks in public “flattening the curve.”
And particularly the Czechs are using home made DIY masks to do it, the CDC has a very major credibility problem, for which see:
My County- Kerr- just announced their first case of CV-19. Travel related, pt isolating at home. No other details given.
Agree!!
Thanks for that link.
TX sure doesn’t like to give out many details, or our cases. :-(

I noticed that a lot of places are reporting proportionally bigger numbers. I *hope* it is a reflection of more honest reporting rather than the virus getting more out of control.
Maybe *someone* read the collective governments of the world the riot act about the dangers of dishonest reporting.
“I’ve never viewed New York as the Heartbeat of America”
They misspelled “Hemorrhoid”.
Speaking of hemorrhoids, Chris Cuomo (Fredo) has coronavirus now.
There’s a thread about him. Very snarky.

Sigh, I saw y’all’s case. Stay home and stay safe.
28 of 70 spring break idiots from UT have CV. http://www.kxan.com/news/coronavirus/large-group-of-spring-breakers-return-to-austin-with-covid-19-aph-says/
“We both might be wrong. There are reports that the proportion of asymptomatic Wuhan Virus victims varies from country to country. The CDC director says it seems to be 25% in the US.”
Well, then, my projected infection rate of under 1% will hold out for a few days longer.
But the CDC has been behind and playing catch up quite a bit.
I strongly suspect that 25% is an artifact of less than comprehensive tracing of contacts and different thresholds for testing people.
But if not, then Good News! Fewer infected means slower spread.
