“I still think he [Trump] is allowing governors to go too far. Perhaps he does not have the power to stop them.”
I hope that the blame can be placed where it belongs.
There are Governors out there telling people, “Don’t take the medicine!”, hoarding medical supplies, blocking 2nd Amendment rights, and even 1st Amendment rights, which are exercised with consideration of isolation, where abortion mills are still operating in this growing scene of death.
Trump is inspirational. He acted quickly and executively, using the Federal Government’s Emergency powers to enable State and local action. We can see that many in the chain of command are not up to it. They need to be voted out.
So you can add Bromeliad.
Dont know. Quercetin can be bought with the pineapple enzyme...but maybe you are talking anout the way i spelled it. Because i never can remember how to spell stuff
The flu kills more people than the virus. Additionally, the flu has never felt it necessary to lie or exaggerate how deadly it is.
Here’s how they are calculated in the UK - essentially in the manner that the Hurricane Maria victims were calculated in PR so that 78 or so people became 3000 deaths.

“2018-2019 was about 61k for instance. No small number and influenza doesnt just pick on the old or the weak.”
You have brought up an interesting point about comparison with influenza.
When we look at Flu deaths in America, those are in the presence of vaccination? I seem to recall instances of the vaccination being “wrong” for a given season. Are the deaths higher, in that case? Do we have to expect that, untreated, deaths from this virus will be worse than we see for the Flu, then, even if Flu and COVD-19 acted similarly in the body, since there has been no vaccination?
Also, with the Flu, is there such similarity from year to year, that our immune systems have some capability to respond, even to a new flu?
A lot of folks still dont take this virus seriously
Dr. Vuong said the flu doesnt kill anybody. I didnt know that.
Just like HIV doesn’t kill anyone - it just makes them susceptible to all kinds of things - even otherwise innocuous things - that do.
Wasn’t that earlier one authorization for tests, and this one authorization for treatments?
Also, the CDC has a very good idea, within a range, of how many people die in each season of the flu. It will be a year before they can put a solid number to deaths for this winter but they have reasonably accurate totals for previous years.
2018-2019 was about 61k for instance.
Bromeliad

Lol..i will try to remember there is an N at the end and not a D
That is a reasonable assumption but, IMO, still an unknown.
Also, with the Flu, is there such similarity from year to year, that our immune systems have some capability to respond, even to a new flu?
Possibly. I have only had the flu once in the last 37 years and it was a three day minor annoyance I didn't bother to treat. Prior to that I had the flu twice a year. Once in the early fall and once in the spring.
No, he was not making that semantic argument. It was a straight comparison in the context of “Covid-19 is deadly, the flu is not.” It was in the last five minutes or so of the video. Dr. Vuong is a drama queen.
And in the ‘17-’18 season the death toll was 80k.
