Yep it’s April 30 now.
Any wiggle room with the term "guidelines" so businesses can begin opening?
Bump
My state (North Carolina) is already locked down until April 29.
Sure, “Back to Work” on The Wall, on getting production in America again, on getting those jobs in America back into the hands of Americans, on ending Sanctuary Lunacy, on getting Judges approved.
Any kind of “economy” that wants to work in the environment we have been shown to be in, is insane.
Here in Ohio, the Gov locked us down until April 6.
If that’s extended to April 30, there’s gonna be a whole lotta uprisings going on!
This is really, really getting old...
stay tuned for more announcements on Tuesday.
Trumps guidelines are non-binding. The federal govt doesnt have any clear authority to shut down businesses and isnt claiming that authority. Under our kind of federalism, only state govts have that power (and local govts is the state grants them that power).
Well, I didn’t intend to let off steam but I just had a stepdaughter hang up on me because I’m not taking this whole thing as serious as I should. I don’t have ANY patience with know it alls!!
She’s in CA and it’s perfectly all right with her if Newsome want to lock everyone up in their homes. She HAS people - in the medical industry - UC Davis Medical Center, Stanford, blah blah blah that she gets the true poop from...until I got tired of it and told her she wasn’t impressing me. She HAS people - malarkey.
There aren’t going to be any negative ramifications to the country’s economy due to these draconian measures and if there are, the people have only themselves to blame??? WE ALL HAVE TO DO OUR PART. She said she hadn’t seen her mother in two weeks. I told her - since I know they have the only two houses on their road, that she and her mother could meet in the middle of the road and visit. NOOOOOOO - we’re not allowed to leave our houses and she wasn’t COMPLAINING - just doing her part! We’re talking foothills of the Sierras..
I must say I never realized she was such a wealth of knowledge at the age of 57. Not a whole lot left to be learned, is there when you already know it all? As if all that wasn’t bad enough, she KNEW this was going to happen because of her connections!
I’m done - pardon me!!!!
In Australia, liquor stores have been designated as essential services.
I love my family, but being locked up with them for weeks on end without alcohol would be more fatal that the virus.
Trust the models. /sarc
And the RAT state governors (along with numerous GOP governors) are EAGERLY exercising that power.
Governor DeWine will extend it to April 30. First thing tomorrow morning he will announce it.
Boy I don’t blame you.
Glad you got that out.
Sheesh.
The economy is dying much faster than virus patients.
