As I watched the Prime Minister order mass house arrest on Monday night, I felt revulsion, anger and grief as anyone brought up when this was a free and well-governed country would. I also felt terribly alone. You could not have known, from anything broadcast that night or printed the following day, that anyone was unhappy with these events. But they were. So, above all things this week, I would like to thank all the kind, perplexed people who have got in touch with me by so many means, to say they share my doubts about the Governments handling of Covid-19. There are, in fact, many of us. If you feel this way, you are nothing like as solitary as you think. Next, I would like to thank all those who disagree with me, who choose to abuse me, often with lies, personal smears and swearwords. Your childish, intolerant reaction has strengthened me in my conviction that mine is the better case. If your policy is so good, why can you not defend it like civilised adults? Do you really think that I regret needless deaths any less than you? Can you not accept that I also have good motives? I now suspect this dark season might get still worse before we see the clear, calm light of reason again. The greater the mistake we have made, the less willing we are to admit it or correct it. This is why I greatly fear worse developments in the coming few days. When I predicted roadblocks in my column two weeks ago, which I did, I did so out of an instinct that we were entering on the craziest period of our lives. And now there are such roadblocks, officious, embarrassing blots on our national reputation.

These aren’t Christians that are terrified. No Christian would be this terrified of losing this earthly life.
In fact I never knew there were so many who had such weak faith on the conservative side.
It’s shocking.
It’s not like ebola is testing their faith. Virus that is not that deadly at all is.
What if something real came around.
It’s scary
Has he blamed it all on Trump yet?
No, that’s his dead brother. Peter is a believer. He’s also a notorious Trump hater.
It’s not a claim dipshit, it’s fact. Watching it happen because crybabies like you are easily frightened. Stay in all you want, distance yourself from everyone and reality.
I’m going out. Have me arrested. Call our fascist Gov. Lee on me. I don’t see his business shutting down. I see Lee trucks everywhere.
All you have is guesses, would, could and be models. Beg you believe their models on climate change too.
Socialism is more deadly than a little flu.
IDK, but I called my Governor as said as much !
This is ridiculous
Well posting that plot without mentioning what the originator said is very misleading. And I believe that the coronavirus data is much closer to the actual numbers than being 6x too low. You come across as being very similar to the fake news media.
Credibility on this part was lost many threads ago
The most important reason they do not want us to assemble, is they know we’ll colaberate
against them, and we ARE armed and dangerous
Over the last 30 years, they’ve turned me off too. They are so unlikeable.
Ol’ Hockey Stick again ...
It will be the old Communist trick - two steps forward, one step back.
You’re sitting in your own home or apartment at a computer keypad complaining of alleged freedoms you lost and no one is kicking your door in. Think about that for a moment.
Until you post something our government masters don’t like
Not saying what he said was right, but our government did bust down his door and dragged him off to jail at gun point.
You obviously don't live in Gov. Halfwhitmeir's state:

Basketball games and other group sports arent allowed in parks right now, police say.
Dearborn police issued a notice Thursday demanding such outings canceled as a result of Gov. Gretchen Whitmers stay-at-home order amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. The order went into effect Tuesday.
Whitmer mandated that Michigan residents stay inside with few exceptions. Still, outdoor activities are allowed, including walking, hiking, running, cycling, or any other recreational activity consistent with remaining at least six feet from people from outside the individuals household.
The Dearborn Police Department says the order means no sports and no public or private gatherings of any size on porches, in garages or in backyards, according to the release posted on Facebook. An initial release said residents werent allowed in parks something deliberately allowed under the governors order but an updated release removed the line.
That’s because the virus has esculated in those areas...and stronger limitations should be expected... just as with a disasterous storm increasing it’s danger to people...people are asked to get off the streets.
I don’t know why it’s s difficult for people to understand how cruel this virus can be on those it afflicts....and how quickly it goes from bad to worse.
You must have a really fragile ego to speak like that....or perhaps you have a vested overinflated interest in your opinion you think others should share.
Unfortunately those unable to recognize this will change once someone they're close to them gets it, sucks the air out of their chest within hours and dies in two or three days...if they make it that long.
