God has this and His children, whom he loves dearly, in the palm of His hand. None, not one, escapes His sight.

Great scriptures and great thoughts. I can remember how I felt about Jesus’ words there when I was a little boy a long time ago.
It meant so much to me then and still does today. In fact, reading your post, I just got that same feeling of comfort reading them that I did when I was a little boy. The exact same feeling of peace and comfort.
That was my late husband’s favorite hymn.

Some people are so fixated on the money and what the economy is going to do and OH NO!!!! we’re heading for an economic collapse and we might not be able to get THINGS, that they have completely lost sight of what is really important.
And that is that NOBODY is guaranteed their next breath and that eternity is a LONG time.
The thing this virus has done is brought home the fragility of life in a way that hasn’t happened in a very long time.
The most pampered and spoiled generations that have ever lived are having their own mortality thrown up in their faces and they simply do not know how to deal with it.
So they either panic or go into denial.
