Yesterday's thread here:

Not the exclamation girl. My stalker is branding everyone who posts here an anti semite. I guess because of some money changer comment
Surprised she didnt try to claim it was me who said it.
We just had another positive case at work. We have 4 plants shut down this week for disinfecting.
Thank God, So far we have not lose anybody.
These lookner posts help to give actual explanations for local outbreaks, not just meaningless numbers:
Church service in Florida (yesterday)

45 singers in a choir in Washington have coronavirus or are ill with symptoms, and two have died

38 sailors have now tested positive for Covid-19 aboard aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt: U.S. officials
Early last week the first three cases were discovered.
Pentagon said Saturday 112 U.S. Navy sailors have coronavirus worldwide 34% are aboard the aircraft carrier.

When a 62-year-old man in Albany, Ga., died in February, close to 100 people attended his funeral. Dozens of them became sick. The pastor who delivered his eulogy died from coronavirus.

If I am supposed to be a member of the Board of Directors of a big drug company, then where the f^%$ is my fat check?
;-)
Another variation of the insanity was the poster who said NORAD did this “all the time”.
You just can’t fix stupid.
“Anyone surprised at Liberty University cases?”
Gee, that would be a shame if Junior ends up in a law suit.
Choir practice turns fatal. Airborne coronavirus strongly suspected

At least he didnt try to claim norad was lying about sending leadership and teams to cheyenne like my idiot stalker.
The Norad guy also admitted there were people sent that he was not at liberty to disclose.
It makes sense. You have to protect those who can make decisions as a pandemic unfolds..and as other countries might decide its time to strike
Agree.
Comments such as those are straight out of the leftist (Rules for Radicals) playbook and should have NO place, anywhere on this forum.
Desperation.
I think there is also a mix of jealousy included.
Not a very attractive combination.
There was a similar choir event in February that led to many of the NW Georgia cases, 2 died from this outbreak. One young woman ended up on a ventilator but she is recovering at at home now, praise God.
Here is an update on her and her husband:
Interesting tidbit from the article:
Were your typical young, healthy couple, he said. Yet April ended up on a ventilator, and he ended up hospitalized. He said the only thing he could think that would have made their conditions worse is the fact that ****they both took an ibuprofen the day they were trying to break their fevers****.
Neither one of us had high blood pressure or diabetes, or anything that would worsen the case for us, he said. We had taken some ibuprofen. Maybe the ibuprofen worsened it. Well never know at this point.
That japanese video of how easily it spreads was illuminating. I can just imagine what it would look like with people singing.
Glad they mentioned ibuprofen. First thing i look for in a story.
“Why would a pastor subject his church to potential infection?”
Lets’s be honest and honest and admit that there are a bunch of charlatans out there who don’t care about human life, and they are just as likely to be a preacher as anything else.
With Easter soon, you can bet some of these pocket sniffers are planning to grab a big piece of spot-light by “defying” the virus/satan, etc. and calling people to worship on Easter Services.
Lock them up. At the very least.
Two countries to watch for comparison—Sweden vs Czechoslovakia.
Sweden (population 10M) has had mediocre policies.

The Czechs (population 11M) are required to wear homemade masks:
So lets look at the deaths to date:
Sweden: 146
Czech Rep. 17

—Something to watch in the next month....
People do not realize how far singing distributes aerosols.
Heres an interesting study on this:
Aerosol emission and superemission during human speech increase with voice loudness
Early work by Papineni and Rosenthal16 and Loudon and Roberts19 reported that speaking (as exemplified by counting aloud) releases about 210 times as many total particles as a single cough. Similarly, Loudon and Roberts investigated the role of singing in the spread of tuberculosis and showed that the percentage of airborne droplet nuclei generated by singing is 6 times more than that emitted during normal talking and approximately equivalent to that released by coughing27. More recent work using advanced particle characterization techniques have yielded similar results21,28,29,30.

Interesting info on the singing aerosols.
Makes sense, though, with the (lung) force required.
Is there any peer reviewed or under peer review research, or any advisory from a national health agency that states to not take ibuprofen, or states that ibuprofen is is a potential risk factor for COVID-19?
And please, no research that is not peer reviewed from the PRC.
That’s a great comparison.
I really don’t get Sweden’s approach, but, as you said....the next month/time will tell.
Already seems to be a difference, with the number of deaths that you posted. :(
Sweden has Muslims, the Czech Republic has very few.
“One young woman ended up on a ventilator but she is recovering at at home now, praise God.”
Wow that is a long time for recovery. Do we have any average recovery times yet in the US? I think it somewhere around 14 days overseas.
Hopefully the new treatment lowers that time. The lower the time in ICU, the better off we will be. The hospital being overrun with sick people is making this virus dangerous.
Maybe the treatment will make it a Just a Flu for the Just a Flu crowd. That would be a very nice outcome.
