Law enforcement in Ewing, N.J., reportedly broke up a party Friday night among 47 people in a small apartment, despite recommendations from health officials amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The department confirmed they received an anonymous call about the alleged party Friday evening. Officers immediately dispersed the gathering that "the renter of the apartment called a 'Corona Party,'" according to a Saturday statement.
The apartment renter, Wade E. Jackson, 47, was issued summonses for allegedly obstructing the administration of law or other governmental function, and violating the "Emergency and Temporary Acts," according to the statement.
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) released an executive order earlier this month canceling "gatherings of individuals, such as parties, celebrations, or other social events."
Murphy tweeted Saturday, "Can't believe I have to say this at all, let alone for the second time. But here we are. NO CORONA PARTIES. They're illegal, dangerous, and stupid. We will crash your party. You will pay a big fine. And we will name & shame you until EVERYONE gets this message into their heads."

Senator John Kennedy from Louisiana said some people are so dumb you have to wonder how they made down the birth canal, This man and his guest are prime examples.
Disqualify any of them access to a ventilator, should they catch it.
At times like these I almost have to give it up to the Chinese. If this happened over there, it would be the last party these morons ever gave because no one would ever see them again.
Same with those morons running around licking things.
We have “Walmart Shopper” & “Florida Man”?
We definitely need a new one:
“Jersey A-hole”.
So much for right to assemble. Ahh those pesky rights were just making people sick anyway
“despite recommendations from health officials”
“Officers immediately dispersed the gathering”
So which is it? Do “recommendations”, like eat your vegetables, now have the force of law and police enforcement actions?
Did the police violate civil law?
Or will the press properly report that we’re under martial law?
How quickly they turn the power of law enforcement against ordinary citizens, while they relax its hold against true criminals.
Ewing is adjacent to, and indistinguishable from Trenton.
Please tell me why 47 people can not risk their own health? If anyone is scared of this virus and fear for their personal health, they are welcome to hole up in their house and never come out again, if they choose. Or, they are also welcome to buy a TyChem suit to protect themselves from this or any other contagion:

How does their ‘fear’ create a scenario where government can now use its ‘monopoly of force’ to punish others who, according to the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, have a right to ‘peaceful assembly’, and a 14th Amendment right to not allow states to make laws that abridge any 1st amendment right?
So, to provide some background to the questions I just asked, apparently there was a Supreme Court decision in 1905, named Jacobson, which seems to be used as reasoning behind all of this “nanny stating” that we are currently experiencing.
However, an interesting point of this decision is it was confined to only the facts of that specific case.
I think it is time to put the Jacobson decision back on trial in the face of what has become an over reach by state governments, endorsed by the Federal government (i.e. President Trump has signed off on all states declaring a state of emergency) to curtail personal freedoms.

Don’t forget about the all important first nine words of our Constitution:
“As long as we’re not in a health emergency...”
Our Constitional Rights are being violated, whether you like it or not. I have two ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War against the strongest nation in the world at that time for these rights, and we are now meekly giving them up. So we can no longer assemble for church or AA meetings or political gatherings or gun shows? Can government now make The Constitution meaningless?
I have a question for Gov. Buzzkill. Is NJ still a welcoming sanctuary state?
https://savejersey.com/2018/11/new-jersey-sanctuary-state/
They already have, and as you can see from many of the posts here, there are plenty of people here on FR that are just fine with it. Very sad.
If one is infected each of the 46 others can become a carrier and infect many others who did NOT agree to risk their won health.

To do so would risk innocent people’s lives. To me, THEIR right to LIVE trumps people’s right to free assembly.
Interesting...very interesting.
Jersey gonna Jersey....
Glad to see, someone else gets it.

N. Korea had one of their military leaders self quarantine and he went to a bath house instead.
They pulled him out and shot him.
This NJ guy needs to be jailed.
