And this is what a third world nation looks like
No.
Certain essential oils will actually do something.
This is just snake oil.
They’re still second world, of course. They’ve been the vanguard of the second world since the USSR voted itself out of existence.
Third world implies high degrees of impoverishment and social chaos.
They buy lots of reindeer antlers in velvet from the commercial reindeer farms in Alaska for the same reason. They must believe that consuming horns makes one horny. Not sure why a gall bladder would do that.
Have you seen any of the film from China
Do you serve it with bat soup?
If almost the whole country looked like that, it’d be third world. Second world historically combined aspects of first and third, having the fiscal and military strength to rob from the first world to serve the “vanguard of the revolution”, i.e. Party members, while leaving their “proletariat” in third-world-level squalor.
I highlight this term “second world” not out of a fondness for it but so that it doesn’t get dropped down the memory hole. Since the demise of the USSR, the UN (which was itself patterned after the USSR) dropped the terms “first/second/third world” and tried to replace them with “developed nations” and “developing nations” respectively with China perpetually in the “developing” status to garner undying sympathy from the useful idiots and fellow travelers who inhabit some of the highest positions in what we would formerly call the “first world”.
Don’t forget, of course, that recognition of Red China and their admission into the UN was the seventh goal in the list of 45 communist goals for the USA.
WHERE IS PETA?
To anyone reading the thread that doesn’t know, they keep the bears alive and restrained and milk the gall via surgical catheters. I don’t know how long the bears last, hopefully not too long. But there’s a lot of money to be made so I kinda think they would try to stretch them out.
