I notice you omit “today” as CCP-19 daily deaths have overtaken bad-flu-year flu daily deaths. Next week your “week” stat goes away (maybe even this week - flu weekly average during the season is 800), and probably your month stat as well.

Let me explain why I believe the Mass General numbers.
We _know_ there is a shortage of adequate PPEs for health workers.
We _know_ that hospital workers are in close contact with CV patients with high viral load.
We _know_ the virus is highly contagious.
We _know_ the virus can stick to surfaces and is an aerosol and can get into air vents.
We _know_ the Boston hospitals have lots of CV patients.
We _know_ other Boston hospitals have had many health care workers infected.
The metrics tie together.
This is _not_ that hard.
