None of the 3 generations of our women on both sides got this crud. Sexist Virus!
The worse hit is one of our male friends. He got the crud/whatever,and he spent a lot of time in 3 hospitals after Christmas. He is a 80 year old male in cancer remission. He had a ton of tests, and no definitive data or information from the tests.
I would love to see a pie chart of Causes of Death for under 50 years old citizens here in the USA.
Clearly, by the numbers we’ve seen, Wuhan flu would be included in the less than 1% Others category.
So we’re destroying the economy over what???
I am a Texan too - we have great weather until tomorrow when it cools off tomorrow afternoon with frigid highs in the mid to low 70s.
My understanding in Galveston is that public facilities are shut down at the beach. But you can still go to the beach. You just need to find a place to use the bathroom and get changed. I have a house on the beach so not a problem for me. I don’t know the status of hotels.

In South Texas it’s mostly business as usual. The valley’s kind of a mess but then it always has been for one reason or another.
