New York Requests 85 Refrigerated Trucks To House The Coming Dead

As of this morning, New York reported over 33,000 cases of coronavirus, and 325 dead. The state, however, estimates that it is still two to three weeks away from suffering under the deluge of peak infection. Accordingly, the New York Times reports that the state has requested 85 refrigerated trailers from FEMA to house the anticipated number of bodies as a result of COVID-19.

New York City has additionally purchased 45 refrigerated truck trailers on its own, Bloomberg says, with each one being able to hold 44 bodies, respectively:

Michael Lanotte, executive director of the New York State Funeral Directors Association, said: “These units are essential to ensure that decedents are treated humanely while they await transfer to a funeral home.”

“It’s a whole new temporary world that we are all trying to navigate,” he said.

The city is sending a “Mass Fatality Management” plan to medical facilities, laying out technical specifications for the trailers, known as Body Collection Points. The trailers must be cooled to a temperature of 37 degrees, documents for their purchase show.

“The city’s five morgues have a capacity of 800 to 900,” the Bloomberg report added. At the upper bound, that would provide the city with a capacity of 1,980 additional bodies to be stored until burial.

The additional 85 trailers requested for the state would provide an additional capacity of 3,740 bodies.

The Info comes from the New York Times......that enlarges and sensationalizes everything..... I heard Cuomo lambasting the Government today, this time for not covering in the bill the revenue he's spent on this virus.....which is prescious little compared to what the taxpayers are already funding for his botched efforts to prepare. No doubt he's going to continue to scream as he had figured from the get go he'd get a huge bail out to restore the state funds he's crashed long before the Corona Virus.

We are not talking about that many bodies. Hospitals have small morgue rooms. They would “overflow” with only a modest increase in traffic.

Bring Out Your Dead

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

I didn’t suggest or say an Airliner wasn’t shot down by the Vincennes, I am suggesting that maybe the Airliner wasn’t full of passengers like the claim or even if it was that it wasn’t some sort of set up.

With the way it’s being projected...if I were living in NY City, the first thing I’d do is bag up bags and call relatives or friends who are upstate, or out-of-state, and LEAVE.

This whole thing in the city is run by 12-year-old kids....hyped up for theatrical drama.

Advice for the various morning shows done in NY City....pack up and leave the city ASAP. Do it from remote locations in Iowa or Oregon.

The Iranian airliner was an Airbus A300, which can carry 300 passengers; the 290 dead means (obviously) that there was room to spare. (The passenger manifest was in line with a plane of that size.)

The USS Vincennes was maneuvering under the departure route of Bandar Abbas International Airport, which is within a mile or two of the Persian Gulf. Anyone on that ship who had looked at a map (even briefly) prior to putting the ship in the vicinity of an international airport could have foreseen the danger of what would eventually take place.

(If there was a set-up of sorts, it wouldn't have been on the part of the Iranians.)

The observation has been made (perhaps here on FR) that it's the very presence of these news organizations in NYC that creates the hype behind stories that would be considered routine if they took place in any other part of the country.
