Do a search on this “The British Government has downgraded the Coronavirus” and see what you get.
Boris Johnson has told everyone to stay home and shut down the country. That doesn’t jibe with the argument being made in this post.

It means that in the UK, COVID cases can be treated at regular old hospitals, and these infected do not have to be transferred to a specific HCID certified facilities.

The title of the OP is misleading, though. The actual wording is “high consequence infectious disease”
“As of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious diseases (HCID) in the UK.
UK government tells people to stay inside and shuts everything down:

That’s because .UK is the top level domain for the U.K.
.GOV is a top level domain for the U.S.

Gonna be some upset panic-mongers here...they seem to be rooting for the destruction of America as the only possible “cure”...
