Why not offer flu tests as part of screening? Cheap, readily available, eliminates doubt.
Something hit me the other day like a ton of bricks. Headache, chills, shakes, deep muscle pain, then fever. No cough, no shortness of breath, no chest pain. I met some but not all of the Covid 19 criteria. It struck at work so my office mates were as freaked as was I. It took a long time to get my doc on the phone, a full day, and she said I didn't qualify for the test.
Great, I still don't know. I did find that others had the same illness experience. I'm trying the Vitamin D Hammer and it has brought some relief.
But it dawned on me today that I'd really like a flu test to eliminate the uncertainty. Try and get one, though, with doctors offices not open. It would give me and my coworkers some peace of mind.
We have been routinely testing for flu (and RSV) but we are starting to see coinfections with flu and SARS CoV 2, as many others are reporting as well.
We're starting to see coinfections, as others are as well.
Try a vitamin c hammer. And zinc
Anecdotal..lay off ibuprofen
Monday late afternoon, fever above 103, dropped to 101 in a few hours. Chills came and went. Doc called around noon, said not bad enough to warrant a test, their office is closed. Low grade fever by then. Headache still there. I have food/asthma so my usual transient need to use inhaler, but not beyond my baseline. Still feel weak, if I do anything, I easily fatigue. Since no medical treatment available, I opted for the Vitamin D hammer Tuesday night. Felt better yesterday. On day 2 of the hammer. Feeling better but still would say I’m sick. Many posts say they are testing for flu but not in my neck of the woods.
COPD, not food
I will pray for you. But the fact that you’re able to post, that’s a good sign.
My daughter caught the flu recently (about 6 weeks ago). She went to an urgent care facility because she was running a slight fever. The “doctor” did *NOTHING* except order a chest x-ray. Yesterday she got the bill - $545. Naturally her insurance won’t cover any of it.
I told her to send the bill to NanZi Pilosi.
Yes. The initial panels did not distinguish the covid19. They are a good screen though.
“In those patients who do have influenza, we have treated them with the vitamin D hammer, as coined by my colleague.
This is a 1-time 50 000 IU dose of vitamin D3 or 10 000 IU 3 times daily for 2 to 3 days. The results are dramatic, with complete resolution of symptoms in 48 to 72 hours.
One-time doses of vitamin D at this level have been used safely and have never been shown to be toxic.
We urgently need a study of this intervention. The cost of vitamin D is about a penny for 1000 IU, so this treatment costs less than a dollar.”

Many times, the first test given is for the flu to save on the CV tests.
Thoughts on what that means or why that is.
We’re not supposed to be afraid of the flu, just because it has killed more people so far this year. We’re supposed to be afraid of the Kung Flu just for the political hell of it.
Because many who have the flu are being put into the covid bucket to try to justify the extreme dictatorships going on.
“Why that is”
Well, IDK but one thing it means is that an interferon response to other viruses is not protective.
I opted for the 10,000 unit tid route. Got 5000 iu gels at Walmart for like $5 per hundred. They are small and I was expecting horse pills. No side effects yet, some improvement but I’m only on day 2. When they offer nothing, you have to try something.
Not just a thought, a brilliant thought! Your protocol needs to get put into action ASAP.
Vitamin D is very important. We have been taking 1k or 5k units daily since my husband tested very low 3 years ago. 5k/daily is upper level of safe so we alternate bottles. His Vit D levels are good now and we really don’t get colds.
