Build your shelter in the deciduous forest and you’ll have plenty of toilet paper, just gather it up before it falls off the trees in the fall.

Our neighbors have property in AZ
They always joke its off the grid
Its literally in the middle of nowhere but would be good place to go if things get too crazy

However, if they get TOO well known, they will be raided by those who didn't stock up for the impending crises. Even ammo gets used up--in time. Then what?

Silly talk. Time to buy a 45 Beneteau. Now that REALLY off the grid.

The lagoon on Gilligan’s Island was in Studio City (Los Angeles).

Ya, theyve built a storage shed & some other things to make it habitable for quite awhile.. they have a large trailer stored offsite as well.
I never paid much attention to my hubby & neighbor talking about it but maybe I should start.

Theyd still last longer than many an unprepared soul. Long enough to form new associations with other prepared people and have a new start.

If you have toilet paper, water and shelter you can glean the rest from the countryside :-)

Think it might be time to think about a bidet as a long term toilet paper adaptation.
To: Rebelbase
I’d also think about a live-aboard type of boat. There are plans out there that enable you to build a fully decked out 55 foot catamaran, for under 200k.
