A million unemployed is a small price to pay if it makes orange man look bad to voters.
Apparently its making him look good as his approval rates are increasing.
The DP was not the petri dish you think it was.
The people were not all huddled in the Grand Ballroom hacking on each other. They were in separate cabins with separate facilities in different zones of the ship and practiced isolation, social distancing and prophylactics such as wearing masks. Some of the sick were removed from the ship, another form of isolation.
If we could get a breakdown of where in the ship the infected were, I would be willing to bet that some areas were heavily affected while others were not affected at all.
“LOL! at how it frightens people, but people are that way.”
We are #1! (soon)
We have pollen full steam here in GA. All of us have the sniffles and itchy nose and eyes. No fever, no other symptoms. My husband has has to send employees home for these symptoms even though its probably just allergies.
It does make you worry though! I figure, if its CV, it will keep getting worse and you would know eventually.
That means this NY doctor who successfully treated 350 patients w/ COVID19 can no longer prescribe the drug.
Hey if thousands die to to keep orange man bad for being re-elected, that's a small price to pay.
By ANY means necessary.
They keep saying it. It's high time we realized they are quite serious!
Yankee spirit! Love it. Have good friends from NY. Once you break the ice, it's all good.
“As a CT person, I am actually feeling better on the inside of the dangerous state list looking out than I would be on the outside surrounded by solipsistic flu bros on the outside.”
Yea, being in a FluBro state worries me a lot, in the sense that, eventually, our leaders will have to respond, just like every other state - but by pushing it further and further out, when judgement day does come, it will he bad, really, really, bad here.
“That means this NY doctor who successfully treated 350 patients w/ COVID19 can no longer prescribe the drug.”
The malaria drug in various studies has shown its effectiveness. BUT - I read the account of this doctor. These 350 people, it was something like 40 of them had tested positive for the virus. He gave it to anyone in the community that had a sore throat, and any type of difficult breathing and some other very minor symptoms.
Describes me - although my issues are my chronic sinus issues that flare up from time to time. I would have qualified for his treatment, determined “free of Covid-19”, and taken away the drugs from an actual Covid-19 patient.
I hope that the Mayor’s order is to prevent giving out the drugs over the slightest cough, and instead keeping them for people that have serious complications, and will be given it through the hospital system.
103 hospitalized, 350 determined not in need of hospitalization, 1385 candidates for hospitalization to be determined.

Marines establish Camp Pendleton task force, coronavirus isolation center
The isolation center officially called the Task Force Medical Isolation and Observation Center Camp Pendleton can house up to 200 Marines and sailors affected by COVID-19.
No one is currently isolated at the facility, according to Gunnery Sgt. Warren Peace, a Marine Corps spokesman, but it is ready to do so if needed.

Every attack on him has boomeranged.
The ship ventilation system was the most likely vector by which Wuhan Virus reached the passengers. The crew infected each other.
This was certainly not as cramped. crowded and dangerous as the quarters on WWI troopships carrying American troops to Europe, or trooptrains rolling across America. Yet somehow the same proportion of the crew+passengers on the Diamond Princess got Wuhan Virus (22%) as was common for American soldier passengers on the 1918 American troopships and troop trains (20-25%).
The Diamond Princess experience is most useful in determining the proportion of victims showing symptoms to victims with no symptoms (3/7 vs. 4/7).
