I was given a “paper” at work today to show Police. I am still in a sense of shock and disbelief. The rumor is that our tristate area will eventually go quarantine. Our states have total a-hole DNC POS tyrant governors who love this crisis. This whole thing is rotten. No,I am not an idiot who ignores the issue but something is not right. Many on our side are right on board with hysteria, accept government and some slam POTUS. The media is doing a grand job of misinformation and propaganda.
I don’t think Bexar County has issued an order yet.
Ummm...because you’re a Conserv, and bike path weiners are not?
Yup. We live in Northern California and regularly take the Vette out for a ride in the dry Western Sierra Nevada Mountains (sub 3,000 ft. Elevation).
They did. It went into effect today.
Who says you can’t? You don’t say where you live. I just drove from San Diego, CA to Pleasant Hill, CA and back on a 3-day trip to see family. A 1,000 mile round trip. No one was being stopped, there were no road blocks. Driving 80 MPH through LA “rush hour” was nice. You’re not going to be infected, or infect anyone else from your car.
“Who says you cant? “
The city or state gov’t issued ,”stay at home order” says, “ residents may leave their home for essential activities, such as getting groceries, seeing a doctor and engaging in “other activities essential to their health, and the health and well-being of their family members, including pets. But otherwise stay at home.”
Tell them you are going for your transgendering meds.
It’s a get out of jail free card.
I haven’t seen a bottle of white shoe polish in decades. IIRC, nurses used it for their iconic white leather shoes.
And let’s not forget 70’s era mafiosi
But also remember that when you leave the house and engage in activity you do run the risk of accident and that puts more people at risk.
Actual experience or just going by hearsay?
Neither. Going by the order:

I’m driving from Bakersfield to Ventura Friday. Because I want to. Haven’t heard of them stopping anyone but...I’m going to pick up my daughter who is ill with no car, no food, etc. lol
I believe 99% of what they are doing is unConstitutional, I'm not sure I grasp why someone who wouldn't be getting out for "health and well-being" would want to burn gas "just because"......but I still think it should be allowed.
In Los Angeles, folks are driving around, walking, shopping. Carefully @ 6’ distance, etc. I heard that last week, before the shut-down, that east Los Angeles (Latino area) was hopping with absolutely NO stoppage of anything. Husband went out for (and got!) TP this am - said the ‘old hippies’ were virtue signaling with the masks. (We’re boomers too but not wearing masks).
LA County put out a list of important services which would not be shut down, and it was a mile long. Bars are closed. Restaurants are serving curb-side. We are in the foothills and the hiking trails are closed, but folks come from all over to hike here.
We are near Pasadena. I am not driving all over the county, just locally, so cannot say for all of the county. I suspect there are hot-spots of people blowing off the warnings, areas where people are super obedient, and all in between.
It’s not a military lock down or anything, just ‘be safe for 15 days.’
