A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
Have you considered a gate so the puppy stays downstairs?
We were discussing at the archery range yesterday how one gets strong so as to use a bow more easily. “Have a lot of children and lug them around,” was one proposal.
Back from the library, where everything is a nuisance including the parking lot’s being all dug up. I’ll get to have a nap later, since I don’t have to be at camp until 6-ish. Jake may decide to stay with the Wall Street Journal.
I lugged my Favorite Son around on my left hip until he was able to walk on his own (He never did walk. As soon as he found that he had legs, he ran, necessitating a leash and harness.) and I think that’s what caused a disc to slip in my back. Anyway, lugging kids around is a great way to gain upper body strength!
Jake would like me to eat fish and try to read the newspaper, because I’ve been known to give him pieces of fish in order to make him move off the articles.
The lawn will need to be mowed tomorrow unless it’s stormy again. If James and Vlad prefer to rest, Pat will have to do it.
It looks like rain and smells like rain, but there is no rain. All this achy stuff and no rain to watch hit the pavement and the cars. Could be the start of the monsoons, but no thunder, so maybe just a wayward storm.
I had to up the brightness on my halogen lamp because the day is so dismal. I just didn’t have enough light to see what I was working on, and if my hands are not busy on the keyboard, they have to be busy with yarn or thread. Keeps me from going bonkers. Therapy, y’know!
It’s clouding up here. I’ll have to watch the radar, regarding evening activities at camp.
But now it’s time for Nap.
Have a good sleep!
For a little while. It rarely gets quiet here, even with only a few people at home. I’d really like to take my vacation to Tom’s house, where no sounds other than a fire alarm would require my involvement ...
One can dream.
Frank is going to a friend’s house tomorrow afternoon, but Kathleen will still be around.
The electronic controls on my washing machine are getting wonky. I need to find the warranty information and see if I could get a repair during the calendar year.
Well, we could put up a gate to keep the puppy downstairs, but since our apartment is on the 4th floor I don’t think she would be very happy.
We wouldn’t either.
I don’t even want to START on what the other residents in the complex might think.
Oh, that would be a problem! I hadn’t assimilated your residence arrangements!
You’re carrying the puppy down four flights of stairs. That’ll build some muscle.
Sometimes, it’s too quiet, here. But I’ll deal with it. Who knows what it will be like in Cabot?
I hate when the washers get wonky here because it’s often several weeks before they get fixed. I hope yours is still under warranty.
I got the 5-year warranty, but I can’t remember how long ago we got the washer! It will be in a file somewhere.
Sometimes up, as well. But I tend to use up to burn her energy.
Unfortunately, she won’t hold still for puppy curls.
It’ll be too quiet with a nice southern accent.
Sounds a little like where I live, except the quiet part.
Frank is going to a friend's house tomorrow, but James and Vlad will be on their break from camp. Vlad will get the room to himself!
@$*£&!!! Windows!
Drive isn’t dead.
Just windows being windows!
All of that just to find out the drive is fine, windows just doesn’t want to admit it exists on the drive!
Because why not?!
I deduce some frustration in your expression.
I am the very picture of calm and collected, there is nothing wrong, I am not holding smoking remnants in my hands, you’re seeing things.
Honest.
And there are NO rabbits here.
None at all!
He says as rabbity shenanigans reduce the area around him to chaos.
There are no rabbits here, either. That could be suspicious.
We’re having thunderstorms again. I’m supposed to have a session of archery at 7:00 p.m., but it depends on whether the campers get out of storm shelter. Hopefully someone will make a decision before I drive over there, but if not, whatever.
Ugh.
Tired of rain.
Had a popup thunderstorm with blue-purple lightning.
It was quite annoying.
Still haven’t a clue why the drive refused to boot.
That makes no sense.
