A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
He says it works, “but there may be a little adjustment necessary.” Since I don’t use that bathroom, it can wait until Tom, dba Epic Fail Plumbing Service, can look at it.
Maybe you’ll be surprised by a prompt response.
Sounds good to me!
I think I need to dust in here.
Maybe I’ll wait until tomorrow, when I rearrange the kitchen. I’ll be moving the flight cage out and dismantling it, while the Muppet Birds are in their separate cages. It should give a feeling of more space, if nothing else.
I just sent my Favorite Son a text that as soon as I got a confirmation letter (that my application has been accepted and I’m officially on the list) I would call them to see how long the wait is, and that will tell me how much time I have to pack.
He actually seems excited. Strange. ;o]
Maybe your son is thinking that this is a good time in history to be nearer, rather than more distant, with the people you can count on.
Actually, that’s fairly close to his wife’s part of the three-way conversation we had last week. It was more of, “We always knew there would come a time when we would want you closer so we could keep an eye on you.” That, of course, could have a couple of meanings, but coming from her, it was a nice thought. So I’ll take it.
And yes, I need people I can count on. I always have. But they have mostly consisted of me.
When there’s a couple of ways to take it, you might as well pick the nicer one.
I’ve been known to suggest that my tombstone could read, “I didn’t mean that like it sounded.”
I’m with you on the yapdogs.
She’s coming along well, if slowly. She’s growing fast.
She can now walk up 3 flights of stairs, but needs to learn to walk down.
And she’s a poodle, so training her is slow, patience-building work.
My tombstone should read, “What, already???!!!”
Done!!
The application will be on its way to AR by the end of the day.
Both my children are happy, now... I think.
Ash the Greyhound had trouble getting down the stairs.
Apparently all puppies have to learn to go down stairs. It’s not a natural move, not even as natural as going up stairs.
I can see that.
Sure is hot here.
Sure is insomnia-ish here... :o|
Good morning. I hope you’re asleep!
Awww... That floof has such thick fur!!
Good morning.
Nope, I’m not sleeping. I stayed awake until 1800, trying to make myself tired enough to sleep longer, but I awoke at 1900 and was awake until almost 2130. Then I woke up again at 0100 and decided to give it up as a bad job.
So the shower has been had and I walked over to check yesterday’s mail. Crikey! A moose card and a packet from Forrest City AR, which is the USDA area office. They sent me a packet with an application for a “Single Family Housing Direct Home Loan.” Quite unlike the application for “subsidized housing for the elderly.”
I haven’t looked at it, but I think it’s something that I have to have a place already picked out to apply for. This is the place I sent the letter to. The application I sent yesterday was the place I called, in Cabot.
No sleep, but I AM wearing my new Hard Rock Cafe shirt!!
Confusing, that housing stuff. I hope you don’t find yourself living someplace totally different from what you expected!
Frank really liked the t-shirt.
I like the T-shirt, too! LOL!
This is the place, as I said, that I wrote to. I thought I was clear in my request for an application for a rental on a senior property in Cabot, but this thing, if I filled it out, could have me living anywhere in AR.
I’ll look it over, though, because you never know... ;o]
(I’m torn between going to bed for an hour and not being able to sleep tonight if I do... Unngh...)
