This is beyond distressing for small businesses BUT what the hell do the Libs care they have never done ANYTHING but collect checks from Uncle Sam!!!
How is Hizzoner going to keep his people fed?
Hey we got 600 cases out of half a million people.
That’s a lot higher than the country average.
I better lock the front door
THIS....will lead to riots.
sure constrict the food supply even more on top of doubling down on ensuring small businesses will be destroyed. That will help things.
These nations are doing the best and they are not cratering their economy by telling everyone they must stay at home for weeks and weeks

How long will it be before cannibalism begins? (ref. Donner party) People gotta eat!
Not just NYC.
But nobody in the enemedia gives a damn about Upstate.
I cant be responsible for every undercapitalized entrepreneur in America -Hillary Clinton
I think one factor is that people are ordering food only. Restaurants make much of their profit from soda and alcohol.
They simply cannot break even on food only.
So many small businesses are going to be crushed beyond saving by this.
crescendoing
Is that even a word? If it is it hardly applies here. Wuhan flu is just getting ramped up in NYC, not even close to a “crescendo” . Jennifer should “learn to code” .
In Nashville, the mayor just closed all non essential businesses for at least two weeks, effective at midnight last night. I own a restaurant downtown and could keep going with delivery and take out, at least for now, but Im also concerned that I might bring something back to my wife who is in a high risk group if she did get it. So, starting today, were shutting down for at least two weeks, as long as the mayors Safer at Home policy is in effect.
Ill use the time for maintenance and remodeling.
When we do reopen I invite any Freepers in the Nashville area to come by Varallos Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in the state of Tennessee.
Wow. I always thought NYC lived on takeout.
DeBlasio’s sanctuary city need to be put on lock down.
Suit yourselves, but fortune favors the bold.

When I went to pick up my order, I was the only customer there. The lights were dimmed and the woman who I paid looked sad. So I threw a $10 tip on the check even though I was just picking up. When I got home, I saw that they threw free desserts in the takeout bag.
I fear that these local businesses are not going to come out of this well if this lockdown goes on much longer.
