Louisiana has a number of heavy smokers.

The word needs to go out that smoking is a very bad thing.

Especially with this virus.

China uses it political prisoners to donate lungs to those who need them as a result of the COVID-19 virus.

China Communists has the advantage that they can get organs whenever they need them...

That gave it a leg up in Louisiana, yes.

Sort of an amplification early on.

NOLA does seem to be a bit of a Hot Spot.

Hopefully the locals are testing the kr@p out of each other to trace contacts, isolate and contain the spread.

Outsiders brought it in & gave it to the locals who were waiters, cleaning people, bartenders, etc.

Those people took it home to their kids. Who took it to school and shared it with a cpl hundred of their classmaters.

Who took it home to their parents.

etc.

Similar situation to the Colorado Ski Counties of Eagle, Pitkin and Gunnison.

The Colo. governator shut the state Ski Areas down well before the end of the season, but the virus lives large still in those counties.

Similar apparently occurred around Sun Valley in Udaho.

I don’t think it was willful transmission and those counties likely have a young average/mean resident age.

I’d blame most poor outcomes on the CDC/FDA/NIH for standing in the way of widespread testing for containment and not approving actual treatments for the afflicted.

Chinese Flu operates Yugely quicker than the gov’t’s OODA Loop.

Yeah but like Washington State, the number of people who died have been predominately at nursing homes. Thank goodness, the last I heard Tangipahoa Parish has had no confirmed cases.

Tangipahoa Parish Named for: Acolapissa word meaning ear of corn or those who gather corn. Don't think I've seen a corn field here ever. 8>)

No doubt it wasn’t intentional transmission.

Testing back in January might have prevented a lot of spread if coordinated with strict quarantine of positives and known contacts. Like SK did early on. Ditto Singapore and HK.

That would not explain why half the cases are in a single senior living facility.

Not the only amplification.

Plenty of people being people in general.

Probably brought into that facility by multiple people.

Gender stats (Louisiana cases) 58% Female, 42% Male. That’s backwards for the normal, according to that Fox News doctor. I believe that the Italian and US cases are almost two to one Male to female.
