Sandy Springs in Atlanta, or a separate Sandy Springs town? I spent the better part of a year in the former.

Since people supposedly die in 3’s, I’m putting my money on Willie Nelson and Clint Eastwood.

Outstanding entertainer!

Kenny worked his way up from poverty and always kept that common touch.

RIP

I remember the parody skits on MadTV with Will Zasso.

Sorry to hear this. I liked his music.

I always thought he sang this song, but it was Hoyt Axton:

‘Della and the Dealer’

“If that cat could talk what tales he’d tell about Della and the Dealer and the dog as well...but the cat was cool and he never said a mumblin’ word.”

He was huge in the 70’s when I was a kid. Sang a song about gang rape. Weird stuff.

Sad to hear it.

I’ll refrain from negative comments about him until he is cold.

Sandy Springs in Atlanta, or a separate Sandy Springs town?

Sandy Springs is a separate town due north of Atlanta city limits but in the Metro Atlanta area. There is no Sandy Springs inside Atlanta.

The population inside the Atlanta city limits is 486,290 (2017).

Atlanta's population represents the residents of the city proper, although the urban population is 4.5 million and the Atlanta metropolitan area is home to 5.6 million, making it the 9th largest in the United States. The Combined Statistical Area is even larger at 6.2 million.

Some years ago, I sat next to him on a flight to Kansas City. He was a nice guy and we enjoyed a great conversation, and a few drinks. Lots of laughs. I liked his songs as well. Rest in peace.

The most outstanding Christmas song of our new era was sung by Kenny Rogers and Winona Judd.

Rest in peace Kenny Rogers. Give our love to the great Glenn Campbell.
