More NY—Lookner:
New York State has tested 61,401 people
That is 0.3% of the state’s population

Given the propensity of those who can to flee, I’d imagine those counties (that probably lack more than a health clinic much less an ICU bed or ventilator) want to remain case free.
Look at the Manhattanites that are crashing the hospitals on Long Island...
Many counties DO have several cases.
From WorldOmeters (whatever that site is, as of today)....
Texas 559 +86 5 11 543
+ 86 cases, today.
Gov Abbott is holding a presser at 3p, today.
SCroll down, for TX county map/graphic...

“Biggest infection surge occurs in the weeks of 5/15, 5/22, and 5/29, when 10%, 20%, and 20% of population = 32M, 64M, and 64M get infected. This will result in 1.6M, 3.2M, and 3.2M needing hospitalization starting 6/7, 6/13, and 6/20.”

fyi, that’s without curve flattening.
Auto makers are supposedly re-tasking and ramping up production for them. Let’s see if they pull it off.
THANK you for Thread #23! (I don’t know why, but I’m not very good at finding the new posts!)
So I’ll be keeping up with the threads and posting more frequently.
Got a call from my wife’s workplace. Someone she works with has this virus, is in the hospital in critical condition. Don’t know the person’s age or gender due to HIPAA of course.
We are quarantined at home for the next 8 days because the person hasn’t been to work since last monday. Interesting that it took that long for her workplace to be notified.
Her workplace is an essential business so they are doing a deep cleaning tomorrow morning and back to business as usual. The company services Whole Foods, Sprout Market and Publix here in Atlanta and around the country.
We are flattening the curve, imho in accordance with “the plan”, which calls for 5% of the population to get infected in Wave 1 (which ends in June or July).
Then the “all clear” is sounded, and the next big wave of infections happens in the fall.
This gives the automakers something to do other than wait for components from China that might not get here this year.
And either idle all those workers or pay them out of non existent sales.
I was confused myself cause they all look like Homer Simpson ...

Quite a shift from letting her country get overrun by illegals...
Now, the rest of the country has to deal with escaping CV spreading NYers.
“there are many reports of re-infections since no immunities are developed - usual re-infection ends in organ collapse”
Just like there are many reports of unicorns flying in American skies.
Think about it.
Re-infection leading to organ collapse means that everyone, everyone will die from it. And a vaccine is not possible.
It’s BS.
