My favorite is his Christmas album “The Gift”. Must play that every Christmas at least once. The first song, “Mary, Did You Know”, has become a Christmas classic.
The man made a pretty strong bird.
RIP Kenny
In the late sixties, Kenny Rogers and The First Edition would occasionally entertain at The Bistro a small bar in Columbus,Oh. I never knew why they would do so, but it was fabulous! Maybe a hundred people at the most would be allowed in (capacity).
How about “Youuu Desecrated My Life”?

So many memorable songs! Prayers for his family.
Well he doesn’t have to worry about the coronavirus now, or see the stupidity unfolding.

He was the gambler.
You’d most likely have to go to Southeast Asia. Although, some Nathan’s sell Kenny Roger’s food items.

RIP Kenny, we lost a huge talent.
Thanks for the memories, Kenny!
Every other song in the late 70’s/early 80s was a Kenny Rogers song or duet with a hot female singer.
I was overseas when he came out with his Roasters restaurants. I only ate at one when back here on a TDY and it was great food. Came home and they had gone out of business. What happened? Was it the Seinfeld spoof?
Bye, Kenny. You were great.

The jump drive in my car, which has over 3,000 songs, is just now playing songs from his album. Yesterday I just heard Lucille...
Wasn’t Island In The Stream done with Dolly Parton?? I just heard it too. And Gambler. Thanks Kenny Rogers.

Wow, that’s weird. I was just thinking about Kenny Rogers this morning when I woke up.
My mind was replaying a Badfinger song and I thought of another video where they were on the Kenny Rogers show. Then I thought about Kenny Rogers marrying that girl from Hee-Haw.
