Today, President Donald J. Trump declared that a major disaster exists in the State of New York and ordered Federal assistance to supplement State, tribal, and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic beginning on January 20, 2020, and continuing.
The President’s action makes Federal funding available for Crisis Counseling for affected individuals in all areas in the State of New York.
Federal funding is also available to State, tribal, and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for emergency protective measures, including direct federal assistance, for all areas in the State of New York impacted by COVID-19.
Pete Gaynor, Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security, named Seamus K. Leary as the Federal Coordinating Officer for Federal recovery operations in the affected areas.
Additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the State and warranted by the results of further assessments.

Just more wasted foreign aide... Most money will disappear into graft-holes...
We need NYC people to remain there and not spread it.
They are Wuhan, Milan and Daegu of the U.S.
Epicentre of liberal/progressive virus.

Our neighborhood in PA is brimming with life. People walking, jogging, bicycling. Kids in tow. It's been great that the weather has permitted this. 70 and sunny today.
NYC is a festering pit. I once lived in Upstate. It is the same thing as “fly over” country. Funny how the POS Wilhelm will get money equivalent to what his dyke wife “lost”.
I guess “lock her up” is a distant musing now.
Yeah, but those tiny apartments will be freeeeeeeee!
On Thursday, March 19th, Senator Michael Gianaris from Queens called for a 90-day rent suspension for all residential and commercial tenants who have been impacted by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis.
Without rent payments, how are rental property owners expected to pay for their mortgages, property taxes, water bills, and other operating expenses?
It’s been a disaster for years.
Nuke it from orbit. Its the only way to be sure.
I lived on Long Island when I was between 10-12 years old. It was a crazy shit hole in 1979. I hated it. Of course I moved there from rural GA. They assumed I was retarded, didnt own shoes, held slaves, was a member of the KKK, couldnt read, and never saw indoor plumbing before. Tried to move me back a grade without even testing me. No joke. I will say it was the first place I saw transvesites, homos, militant feminists, morally/intellectually superiorJews, racism, tribalism, ethnic neighborhoods, no school busses, no lunch rooms, gangs, ... you get the point. NY was so superior in their own minds and to. 10 year old so crazy.
Needles to say, I still dont like Yankees.
I think New York deserves being labeled a disaster about 50 years ago.

Yep. WHY exactly do they need money? Everything is shut down, and people are told to stay home. Is NYC coming up with a shot to help?
This is why the media screams “PANIC” and the left jump on board...MONEY to steal from us. Period. Just like everything else they want money for to “help”...they stuff it in their pockets or use it for peddling influence.
