I’d hate it to be said I’m being ambiguous about what I’m arguing. I’ll be plain: I believe the Left worked to help cause a crisis, worked to maximize the psychological impact of the crisis, and now have been given the means to determine the extent of the crisis. And if we do nothing, they may do tremendous harm to the country. For years I’ve written that the Left has at least passively been programmed to hate the country and works against its interests. I’ve detailed at length how the well-intentioned rank-and-file Democrats contribute to this, and speculated extensively about the mindset that might justify, drive, and predict their behaviors. Yet even for someone as relatively jaded as me, I am shocked at what I have seen in the last few weeks.
So step back and ignore CCP virus for a moment. It’s not that it’s not important and it’s not that it’s not dangerous. But pay careful attention to what it’s being used to justify.
Let’s go back to before CCP virus made landfall—I seem to recall the Leftist media licking its chops at the prospect. In the context of which, repatriating people from the Diamond Princess cruise ship explicitly against Donald Trump’s instructions struck me as an interesting move. By interesting I mean “a move intentionally calculated to maximize risk to one’s fellow citizens”. In the last few weeks it was one of the more brazen and sickening things I’ve seen the Deep State do. Raising blue Hell because Donald Trump ended flights from places most affected by the pandemic was likewise a fairly interesting move—again using the above definition. I was especially amused to read the coverage saying that most of the new infections are community-based transmission, as if this demonstrated that minimizing the infective individuals starting those transmission chains was therefore irrelevant. This school of thought was brought to you by the same sages, one assumes, who would not bother to turn off the water to the leaking pipes if their basement flooded, because after all, the thousands of gallons of water that have already come out of the pipes are the priority.
I get it and worry about that.
But I think the opposite will happen.

It is true that the Left wants us destroyed. The means they use are the sheep themselves. Before they came up with the idea that they could use the China Virus to get President Trump and destroy the American Economy at the same time, thus killing two birds with the same stone,the China Virus was largely ignored.Once they saw that they might be able to use the China Virus to their advantage, the media, aided and abetted by the sheep themselves whipped the sheep into a frenzied panic that even President Trump was unable placate.

This is the story of the little boy who rang a bell in the city center. When asked why, he said to keep away the elephants. When told there are no elephants, he said, “See? It works!”
This is the communist using this “crisis” to implement communism, to keep the elephant virus away by ringing the communist bell of handing everything over to the government.
Phase 1 was gaslighting the sheeple into thinking they will die without government intervention.
Phase 2 is control the people and shutdown their businesses.
Phase 3 is government providing payment for business rents and payroll.
Phase 4 is the government simply stating that since the government already pays for everything that the government now owns the businesses.
Communism complete: Total control of the sheeple and a complete takeover of commerce.
The liberal States of Washington, Pennsylvania, California, Colorado, and New Jersey have implemented martial law, selecting which businesses must close and that the people must stay indoors. This isn’t a quarantine; this is martial law. Just because the communists are using the virus as an excuse doesn’t mean it is not martial law. When the government can tell you to stay home, implement curfews, and shut down businesses, it is martial law. Trump is in on this communist takeover. He is encouraging States to go into martial law and shut down businesses and lock everyone into their homes.
To get the people’s cooperation, the government is buying their cooperation. Each adult gets $1,000; $2,000 per couple but only if they make under $150k. Great, huh? Get taxed to give other people free money. Colorado is giving people a pass on parking tickets as though people can no longer seem to properly park. There are lots of free sh*t stories being reported.
Just as we were moving manufacturing back to America, the communists are closing those businesses making us rely on foreign imports again. Since Trump has surrounded himself with the communist healthcare workers, he is pushing the narrative and supporting “free” money which means both conservatives and liberals, alike, support him and this effort to take over the country by the communists.
We are past the tipping point. Americans are fully endorsing any and all measures. They actually want more closures. The drama queens are begging to have all their liberties taken away in the name of safety. They are begging for their businesses to close, thinking somehow Uncle Sugar will hand them money to live on instead of having to work.
For those of us not so stupid as to fall for this communism propaganda, we have the right to take on jobs and visit businesses of our own free will. This is the liberals taking away our right to choose.
The WHO estimates between 250,000 and 500,000 die worldwide from the flu. China had 81,000 infected of a population of 1.4 billion and have now lifted their quarantines and claim to have no new cases. South Korea with 8,600 cases likewise has seen a tremendous drop in new cases.
This virus so far is the typical flu level symptoms and treatment. Nothing to be taken lightly, but nothing to go and shut down the country for either.

If specific individuals/groups could be targeted from more nefarious delivery systems...what then? Who is dying? Who is crying. Who has recovered? Lots to consider with time to consider it. I place much confidence in the current administration... in its logistics and tactical decisions in countering the rate of infection. I’m also convinced there is coordinated propaganda fueling the panic that’s promoting an absurd overreaching response that is crippling/gutting the economies of the world for political points or intended design. All this chaos/fallout over a virus strain that is no more impactful in its mortality rate then the H1N1 pandemic of 2009. This will prove true once the infection cycle completes and full statistics known.
The only difference between 2009 & 2020 is what political party was in charge aided by the state propagandist communist MSM... no media induced panic, no economic shut-down, no closed borders. In 2008-09 the rising globalist of the NWO was in full offensive compared to their imploding numbers in full-retreat today because of Trump.

You’re not wrong. MSM is running this to a large extent. The fact that it is an election year is having a catastrophic effect. Trump is in a vice. If trump resists these extreme measures and the virus increases (which it will) they will crucify him for minimizing it so he has to go along and try to slow the train. Meanwhile the Rat Governors are doing these “brave” actions and Trump still gets accused of dragging his feet and not doing what is necessary. so far people approve of Trump’s handling of it but at a terrible price. Much of what has happened would not have if it was not an election year. Thousands of businesses will probably go under. It is just tragic.
There are plenty here fueling the panic. Daily virus threads... and people follow this crap. They love misery.

I run a business out of my house and use my garage as the warehouse. We are exempt from Pennsylvania’s shut down of business as we supply vital equipment to the oil and gas industry. I was thinking all day, “how can they screw me?” the answer came as the company that does my payroll is being forced to shut their doors.
