Statewide ban on what?
The President is asking people to stay home and not be out if you don’t need to be.
It isn’t that hard.

UK to pay 80% of wages for 3 months... for everyone!
Mind blown.
“Nobody is doing roadblocks.”
We are about to see roadblocks, to limit travel into areas that have yet to become hotspots, to protect sensitive assets like hospitals and governmental buildings, to inhibit crime (primarily looting), and to encourage residents’ shelter in place.
Hospitals are already restricted.
Government buildings are already restricted.
Looting would be a bad option as business owners are in their stores.
A Dr called the ER? That just seems weird.
Thanks for the new thread.
Ugh, the flubros. Ignorant fools...
agreed. 5 days tops, we’ll see them in several hotspots.
May I say one thing about the need for everyone to be tested?
Back when the Aids epidemic exploded in this country I worked in a hospital laboratory. When a HIV positive specimen was brought into the lab it was covered in bright red stickers to alert us to use extreme care in handling of said sample.
We knew to glove up, pop the cap with a piece of gauze to avoid splatter, and to clean the bench with a 10% bleach solution. We were nervous about these specimens but we had it under control.
Enter HIPPA. Suddenly patient confidentiality no longer allowed the bright red caution stickers. The samples were mixed in with the other 500 samples we processed daily. We were panicked. We complained. We were told if we treated all samples as if they were HIV positive, as we should be doing, there would be no problem. You know it worked.
The same is true for this virus. Treat everyone as though they were positive. Wash you hands after outside contact. No hand shaking with anyone. Keep a 6 foot space with EVERYONE. Do not gather in large crowds. It WORKS.
“Ignorant fools...”
The more ridicule they suffer, the longer it takes for them to become wise.
Great post for the general public.
The challenge is when there are health care facilities or other important areas.
It would be better if only folks who tested negative were allowed in those facilities.
For now that is crazy wishful thinking—but we may get there.
United States
Coronavirus Cases:
16,796
Deaths:
229
Recovered:
125
A person has less chance of recovery than death.
It aint the flu.
Good example of what happens when we cannot test first:
11 residents of a nursing home in Troy, Ohio have tested positive for coronavirus
In addition, 3 residents and 2 staff are hospitalized and awaiting test results

“agreed. 5 days tops, well see them in several hotspots.”
I saw a video on FB that was posted today, doubt I could still find it, but it was a guy filming a train with flatbeds full of the military Humvee’s (or whatever they call them now). All beige color, painted for the Mid East. The video went on for close to a minute, he said it took him 30 seconds to star filming. It was quit a few vehicles on that train. Hundreds. He said train was heading to Chicago. If I can find it, I’ll post it.
“Treat everyone as though they were positive.”
That’s always how I rode my Harley. I pretended that nobody could see me, not even those looking at me.
Saved my life twice.
Another example:
Two emergency room physicians at Rush Oak Park Hospital in Illinois tested positive for novel coronavirus and are isolated at home, according to a release from hospital spokeswoman Nancy Di Fiore.

I think we continue to double every two days.
Who was keeping that data?
France reports 1,617 new cases of coronavirus and 78 new deaths, raising total to 12,612 cases and 450 dead
