Sky News did a report on the most modern hospital in Europe located in Italy.
It's titled The shocking centre of the COVID-19 crisis
The video is heartbreaking. This WILL happen here IF we don't follow the guidance of President Trump and his team on coronavirus.
About 4,000 survived (presumably in hospital), according to the video. But about 4,000 died, so far.
Ah, but if you DID get in an accident, it wouldn’t cause 2 to 4 accidents 5 days later, and then 4 to 16 in another 5 days, etc.

Agreed. The statewide shutdowns are premature in most cases.
The fewer places that have breakouts, the more resources that can be mobilized for places that need them.
I’m cool with shutting down individual counties, just not entire states at this time, except maybe New York and Washington.

Most of the cases are downstate.
NY is a big state and there is a lot of very desolate areas.
We don't need to shut down the entire state to take care of NYC. Just quarantine THEM.
And you don't even have to encircle the city. A good chunk of it is bordered by ocean and the water is COLD at this time of year.
Not many people are going to escape that way and live to tell about it.
Where is the rest of Europe? We see terrible scenes from Italy and yet the EU is totally AWOL. I’m not understanding that.

There is a direct correlation between all this panic and extreme measures that are being taken and the fact that people are living much longer these days then they were 40 years ago.... This is about the political ramifications of millions of people in their 70’s and 80’s dying from this virus..... Most of whom would not have lived this long in another era..... When they talk about the health care system being overwhelmed, it is all about these older people..... Not saying younger people can’t get it too, but in the old days when the life expectancy was 70 tops, these extreme measures would not be taken..... The West has become old and soft compared to when life was harder and people did not live as long

In China, Iran, Italy and other places it is a disaster. There are various reasons why each of those nations have total chaos. They are NOT the USA.
Migrant Chinese workers (legal & illegal) in Italy are the vehicle to this disaster. There are other reasons too.
