Hard to give a damn when people are loosing their jobs due to their places of employment being shut down and others loosing their life savings in the stock market.

rushing to get tens of thousands of people off the streets and into shelters and tents to slow the spread of the coronavirus

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Seems like that’s a guaranteed way to speed up the spread.

About a week or two ago, Tucker Carlson had a conservative activist from Seattle on.

They talked of the consequences of CV sweeping thru the homeless population. For all the ones living on a sidewalk that they could foreseeably round up, there are others sheltering in the woods or squatting in abandoned buildings.

It’s gonna be hard to get a handle on CV in a situation like this.

” rushing to get tens of thousands of people off the streets and into shelters and tents “

If they don’t have enough shelter space for the homeless under normal circumstances, how can they now, if they have to keep everyone 6 feet apart? Seems like a similar situation as the cruise ships. Better off keeping them on the streets where they can self isolate themselves on their own as long as everyone else is staying at home.

Maybe while they are doing that, they can triage the mentally ill and put them in appropriate facilities AFTER they change the law to allow long term hospitalization for the mentally ill.

Where are they rushing to, it wasn’t a concern a few weeks ago.

They don’t want to be rounded up. Can’t feed their addictions in a government camp.

So NOW...they are “rushing”

Seems to me they should have done this long ago. I’m sure they will blame Trump, it’s what they do.

Maybe the homeless are like the wino in the movie “ Andromeda Strain “ and are immune.

California has been “dealing” with the homeless since 1983, easily! Those were the days that grocers were told to pour ammonia or bleach on all the old produce that went into the dumpster. I saw this done, by the Stater Bros. market in Rialto, Ca. across my backyard. It was here I saw homeless people go dumpster diving, while trying to keep my Dobermans calm.
