We have the same problem in Colorado: they won’t test you unless you have a doctor’s note and are pretty sick. How are they going to know how many people were infected overall especially relative to the number of deaths, if they don’t test everyone who has any symptoms? I would be wiling to bet there are 1000s of people walking around who are positive but “not sick” so not being tested. If you have 20 deaths in 100,000 cases, it presents a far different picture than 20 deaths in 200 cases.
I think we can be pretty positive that there are more people walking around with it than we know..and more people have died from it than we know.
What we dont know is all the after effects..including possible sterility issues
But what we do know is that the ordeal that many are going through is horrific.
If you can avoid being this guy ...wouldnt you???
