POTUS presser.
I’m sure most of you have noticed that he’s been calling it “the invisible enemy” all along. And we know why!
But another thing I noticed today is that POTUS was just discussing states and fed gov competing to get supplies and POTUS said fed gov would back off because it was faster and better for the states to buy/distribute them. A not-so-subtle point that the fed gov should NOT be running everything?

Annoying phrase: “stood up” We just “stood up” FEMA. - Pence. And many others saying similar things. Not picking on Pence. He was just the one who said it now. WTHeck is that supposed to mean. I hate bureaucrat-speak.
It’s a term that comes from military parlance.
Standing armies are those that are currently active.
Standing up an army/force means activating or creating a force.
Standing down is the reverse...which has also come to mean relax from a more active state.
As with a lot of military terms this one has made it’s way into government parlance, because of the similar type of activities taking place in a bureacracy or other civilian force that is on call... in this case FEMA
Glad to see 45 unload on those presstitutes at the presser.
It is hard to watch him have to put up with those b*tches in the media.
And when will Di Chi Fi be resigning?
“We just stood up FEMA.”
Seems to me you only stand something up after its fallen down.
