Day #19 here:
http://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3825446/posts?q=1&;page=1
I’m not scared of dying.
I’m moderately concerned if hubby gets this we’ll end up having to declare bankruptcy.
I am ‘concerned’ that there’s more to this virus than a once and you’re done thing. And that there are side effects we haven’t had publicized yet. Like fertility issues.
Let’s be honest. anything that FURTHER decreases the ‘T’ in millenials would be a complete catastrophe. it’s not like that group has any T to spare.
And the hits keep coming.
Complete fiscal disaster.
I guess if you’re going to print money...why not.
Wilson Chandler: “Is this my building?”
Building manager: (nods)
Wilson Chandler: “WHAT??? This is ridiculous! . . . This can’t be happening!”
Building manager: “Oh, it’s happening, sweetheart?”
Wilson Chandler; “SHUT UP! . . . ARRRRRGH! EEEUUUUUUGH!!!” (smacks hands togather)
Apologies to State Farm auto insurance.
Let’s hope this is the event that gets us aware of and hardened to such warfare. Trump’s MAGA agenda proven more right by the day. He needs another term to get us fully domestically sufficient, which is what we need.
8,794/(8,794+84,314)=0.0944, or a 9.44% Case Fatality Rate.
8,794/213,669=0.041 or a 4.1% Deaths-to-Cases Ratio
For the “common flu” both of those numbers are 0.001 or 0.1%
So maybe you should stop ignoring them.
“I cannot believe JimRob is allowing this Fake News bull sh*t to permeate this sight!”
Anger phase. Progress! :)
Maybe you should go volunteer at the hospital so you don’t have to be on this “sight[sic]”.
He actually think his indignation will get him sympathy.
“And nobody would have known what did it. Where it came from.”
That’s an excellent point. One of the fears that I’ve had regarding new-age weapons, like Russian submarine drones that deliver nukes to our coasts and go kaboom, is our inability to figure out who the ‘bad guy’ is...since all of the evidence is vaporized.
So why would China infect themselves first, knowing full-well that they’d be blamed by Trump, regardless of their degree of ownership of the Deep State?
Answer - it was NOT meant to be deployed at this time...or it was really just an accident in Wuhan. Hopefully we find out sooner than later.
Go right ahead and post it.
That must be happening time and time again.
Is anger before or after bargaining?
(Right now, I’d love to bargain, but I don’t think God’s into that.)

I'm now in the "(un)intentionally released global bio terror weapon" camp. I've posted extensively about supporting taking a measured and balanced approach, one that considers not only public health concerns, but traditional American social/economic freedom and civil liberties as well.
After today's news conference, where Trump mentioned he's a "war time" president, I've come to realize that the current directives ARE a measured & balanced approach. That is, in a war time footing.
Think about that for moment. If these measures aren't extreme, aren't an over-reaction, but are actually appropriate given an encompassing national security risk assessment at Trump's disposal, then what conclusion(s) can you draw?
Language matters. While Trump is dismissed by some as a clown dunce, others perceive a marketing/branding method to his madness. When Trump labels someone/thing, and then rolls it out for public consumption, it's done after thoughtful (intuitive) testing and analysis. Crooked Hilary, Crazy Bernie, Mini Mike, Sleepy Joe ... CHINA VIRUS. Then, he (re)authorizes a semi-dormant national defense act, while referring to himself as a "war time president".
Man, if you're not getting the message Trump is now sending in bold letters, I don't know what else he can do. Other than straight up announce it on live TV in front of Congress?
Which, given the rate of today's announcements (Big 3 shutting down production, Canada border closed to non-commercial traffic), could come as soon as Friday.
I’m not scared of dying, either. Just random fear of the unknown, which I’m successfully not allowing to paralyze me.

The troll has ignored repeated demonstrations that this is a dangerous situation. He claims it’s all a hoax. Either he’s an idiot or a Panda mouthpiece.
It will be the fault of him and people like him if this goes on longer than need be. Butflubros are spreaders. Fortunately he can’t infect others over the internet, but he could encourage people to do stupid things, endangering themselves and others. Maybe keeping him here where most people have common sense is better.
Had not hear about the possible effect on fertility. I’ve been wondering why the response to this worldwide has been so extreme.
Maybe they were planning to use it against the Uighurs. Perhaps that’s why they’ve been rounding them up into camps. But it got out.
Governments must now know that it is not only very contagious, but it can cause infertility, which is why they’re willing to take huge hits to their economies, and reelection chances, to stop it.
I would also explain why the worldwide response was at first fairly lackadaisical, and then got very serious very quickly.
I am noticing cities in South Carolina imposes curfews. Wondering if there are bad people out there doing bad things during lock downs.
Thx for the ping!

Rest In Peace
Governor Ned Lamont today released the following statement regarding the first death in Connecticut due to severe complications from coronavirus (COVID-19):
It is with sadness today that we are confirming the first death of a person in Connecticut due to severe complications from COVID-19. The patient, a man in his 80s, had recently been admitted to Danbury Hospital, where he was receiving treatment. He had been a resident of an assisted living facility in Ridgefield. I want to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and medical professionals at the hospital who did everything in their power to save his life. I also want to acknowledge the dedicated professionals from hospitals and medical centers throughout our state who continue to work on the front lines and treat patients, in addition to all of the support staff who are providing critical assistance through this trying time.”
What’s the best practical domestic defense firearm?
