Day #19 here:
http://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3825446/posts?q=1&;page=1
Just wait for the Florida Spring Break morons to take it back home in a few days.
I think that’s part of the ‘irrational’ response to this. Way more is going on than the base mortality rate of this virus.
Way.
What exactly is china holding hostage right now? (antibiotic production, PPE production, important military spare parts? Do they have *another* bioweapon inside our borders just waiting for the ‘go’?...lots of variables here)
Good on TB. Now for the other states to follow.
Agree.
Trumps reply, about Cotton, was brilliant.
Shut that whiner up, but quick.
I skimmed the document, and it focuses on tactics and not actual strategy imho.
This agency will do this, that agency will do that...bla bla bla...tactics.
I think the _strategy_ is in my post #7 of this thread—the eighteen month timelines match.
Selves are emptying out of ammo in South Carolina. The guns are sold out too.
If this virus was designed it will have similar two punch capabilities. Even the lame Boston bombers used that technique.
This virus appears to be an escaped bio-weapon. Bio-weapons researchers in China are at least as smart or smarter than the Boston Bombers...
Why does this appear to be a bio-weapon? Because in totalitarian hellholes information that keeps people alive runs along a human 'underground railroad' - faster and with more accuracy than the New York Times and Washington Post put together. Father to brother - brother to wife - wife to mother - mother to husband - husband to brothers - bothers to wives - wives to sisters and on and on and on...
Before the first two hundred people died of the disease countries all over the continent were starting to shut down. Russia never closed their borders with China over any other 'flu' - especially at such an early stage. The underground railroad was working.
You've never seen that instant fear reaction to any of the other strains of Asian flu over the years...
Here's the concern: Several people have gotten this 'flu' more than once. The most recent a man from Japan. What if the 'second punch' of this weapon is that the second and third times a person gets the flu, they're body is seen as compromised? The virus flu sees 'an 80 year old with underlying problems' - not the 29 year old who just caught it for the third time?
That group would include the young and healthy 'first responders of this current wave.
I have ZERO reason to believe Chinese bio-reseachers spent billions of yuans creating a mild cold that last 3 days in a healthy person. (Best hope is this weapon escaped before it was completed - and that it'll burn out on it's own... )
Plan for the worst - hope for the best.
That measure may be next.
Montgomery County officials say a 1-year-old boy is currently hospitalized with the coronavirus.

I thought Ace 2 inhibitors might be a treatment. But that’s just a guess
There has to be a reason.
I don’t think Trump is an idiot.
I don’t think he and every other world leader have torched their economies for ‘the flu’.
“Exactly. From the abstract - One degree Celsius increase in temperature and one percent increase in relative humidity lower R by 0.0383 and 0.0224, respectively. This result is consistent with the fact that the high temperature and high humidity significantly reduce the transmission of influenza. It indicates that the arrival of summer and rainy season in the northern hemisphere can effectively reduce the transmission of the COVID-19.”
If it has an R0 of 4 (has been recently most often stated as 2-4 but 6 was a long standing early estimate) then to reduce the R0 to 0 would take only 100% humidity and a temp rise of 80 degrees Celsius. Hmmm. Boiling Tsunamis for Everyone!
Just kidding, sort of. Normal weather changes of a seasonal nature won’t have the dramatic effect people are hoping for if these numbers are correct. Some is still good, though. Will be offset in the southern hemisphere (where spreading has been going just fine, anyway).
But if you have a sauna or hot tub, go for it.
What kind of thermometer? A FOREHEAD thermometer.

When I was on a tour of China, the young tour-guide babe called the Tienanmen Square massacre an ‘accident’.
Sounds like she learned from Ms. Merkel

“this woman must have a super strain”
OR their heredity gives them a low tolerance to this type of virus, which is per our working theory that pretty much every person has a different level of tolerance to these virons.
That interview should have its own thread..very informative.
Or maybe they’re scared sh*tless that their chance of dying has just increased a bit.
Anyway, if you’re not scared at this time, you’re an idiot, anyhow. Just don’t let that fear take control of you.
