FWIW, from one of the first briefings, POTUS said that- we know where it came from, and they know where it came from.

This as almost verbatim, as I remember his statement.

The wet markets, bats and pangolins, are or could be vectors, but they are not the origin as I read it.

Anybody with a private vehicle in decent shape should be taking that wherever they may go. Plenty of people without such means take transit, and people who do it as an option cause more crowding and limit the opportunities for social distancing. And same with Uber and Lyft; don’t take them if you have your own car.

I now know why our stores have nothing. The managers have been asking customers where they’re from and they’re coming in from Round Rock and Austin and buying out everything. $1500+ receipts. And spreading the virus. Abbott needs to put a stop to this. Show your license and anyone out of the county can’t come in.

I posted yesterday of the Chamber of Commerce and customers restocked a small town’s grocery.

I doubt one day is enough. I’d say five days. That might work for paper goods, boxes of cereal, rice and dried beans. Could be hard on your butter, eggs, milk, chicken and steak, though. And REALLY hard on your ice cream.

I can’t imagine spending that on groceries!

Did they literally have no food in the house and a half dozen teenage boys?

No, he gave a hint that Tom Cotton (and the researchers who have brought it out) was right re: it being a bioweapon from their Wuhan lab.

Trump can’t say that now because China has us by the short hairies re: pharma production.

Thanks for the Plan, Bro.

From the Plan, we are in the Full Community Mitigation part of the Mitigation phase, where the President signs the Stafford Act declaration. Also in this phase:

“Industry business continuity plans cannot be executed due to insufficient personnel leading to significant disruption across sectors”

and

“Increasing rate of infection in United States indicating established transmission, with long-term service disruption and critical infrastructure impacts”

So, fill up your car with gas, because there will be shortages from time to time simply from people in the supply chain being sick.
