I just got back from our store.
The meat shelves were empty. Except all of the “plant based” meats. I guess it’s universally accepted that stuff sucks too.

Exactly. What are the underlying conditions that obese people may have that are undiagnosed? It may not be obesity per se.

I agree with your post. Unfortunately many of these folks were never taught personal financial fitness. They watched their parents and how they went on about their lives. Now with the me me me generation, their parents buying everything they wanted. It’ll be a massive downward spiral.
Dave does encourage buying a home and that being the only debt someone may carry. I personally am debt free with the exception of 2 mortgages. One of which is a rental. We also have about 12 months in savings for our monthly living requirements.
I think though the fedgov needs to address the mortgage and car loan industries. We cannot have people losing their shelter or means of transport to their jobs.
I snuck in a firearm in pieces that I kept hidden and locked in my desk. I was behind three sets of locked doors, so I would have a bit of warning. But, I was going to be the “first responded” for an active shooter in my area.
But I was a long way from patients.
