Just the other night, NHL network re-broadcast Game 6 of the the 1975 Cup Finals between Buffalo and the winners, the Broad Street Bullies. It wasn’t a slugfest but it was great seeing the French Connection and Clark, Schultz and The Hound’s stuffer that won it. One of the little DoodleBobs was amazed at Parent in goal, but was also a little perplexed: “how do you know the score or what time it is?”
I’ll have to watch that one. And it IS different to see those old games without the added visuals on the screen.
