“They really seemed to have hit their stride. That is great. We need leadership now. He is doing that.”
Yes, and the “whole America approach” is crucial.
I can’t imagine anyone better to call up the CEOs of companies and tell them, “get on the next plane to Washington, we need your help.”
When he tells them, “We need you to do this and that, and we will take care of you,” they will trust him and they will act.

It’s not just this particular virus they need to worry about (probably not for the teens).
They need to worry about having those wisdom teeth removed with pliers, no anesthetic or antibiotics.
That urinary tract infection? drink a lot of cranberry juice and hope for the best!
is your teen on birth control pills? grandkids incoming! And your daughter will be having them the old fashioned way...no epidural! Hope she doesn’t need a c section. Cemetaries from the 1800 and early 1900’s are full of mothers who died without them.
medicine 1900 style won’t be fun.
But hey, globalism...
I read somewhere recently one of the coronavirus survivors recommended a three week supply of Mucinex DM and said it saved her life.
as per amazon
Mucinex DM is an expectorant and cough suppressant.
Oh snap.
Okay. But here in Washington state we were testing 1000 per day with about 100 positive.
For the last couple days we have been testing 2500 per day with about 100 positive.
To me that indicates that percentage of positive cases is now falling. As of yesterday we had 904 positive and 11,582 negative.
That’s a good thing to know.
I bought a big bottle of pills of that stuff a cpl years ago, just in case. I always forget to restock the medicine cabinet prior to actually getting sick and the OTC ‘syrups’ are always expired when I need them. (expired pills i’ll take, expired liquids not...stuff’ll grow in those)

I’m glad I bought some Cipro in port on our February cruise. For me, UTIs laugh at cranberry juice. D-Mannose also helps for prevention.
And this is a good thing.
The press conference — Dr. Fauci is ecstatic as he expounds on all things virus. Lovin’ the limelight and worship of the press.
Yup.
IMHO the ‘over reaction’ is about more than just the virus.
Although it looks like the ICU bed situation in NYC is going to be a complete shit show before long.
Hopefully not though.
I’ll post this link again, just because:

President Trump: We are looking to save the maximum number of lives and our economy will be roaring back.
Can you explain that in more detail? I've noticed it as well.
How much has the spread between the two gotten historically (fully realizing that this is Black Swan event)?
Im continually impressed that Germany has such a low death rate from this given the numbers and increases. The nordic countries are also similar... I’ve never been surprised by the italian or spanish numbers... even their university hospitals are horrid.
