Barr tells AGs to prioritize scammers looking to exploit the COVID-19 crisis
Attorney General Bill Barr sent a memo to U.S. Attorneys offices around the country Monday evening, urging them to prioritize prosecutions of scammers, fraudsters and cyber criminals looking to exploit the COVID-19 crisis.
“The pandemic is dangerous enough without wrongdoers seeking to profit from public panic and this sort of conduct cannot be tolerated,” Barr said in the memo. “Every U.S. attorney’s office is thus hereby directed to prioritize the detection, investigation, and prosecution of all criminal conduct related to the current pandemic.”
Barr’s memo also asks the U.S. attorneys to work with the chief judges in their individual district “to ensure that every appropriate precaution is taken to protect the health of those who practice in or are called before our courts.”
I have found that people overall, way underestimate what kids are capable of.
Nobody is challenged any more so nobody has any need to learn to push themselves or excel. Just good enough is better than most and they get their participation award regardless.
My youngest wanted to learn to crochet when she was 5. I didn’t think she was ready but she was determined and insisted to I taught her.
She struggled a bit, but mastered it quickly and became very good at it.
My son loved helping his dad and when we were laying the Pergo floor in the kitchen, he insisted on helping. I have pictures of him actually installing it.

When kids learn skills at a young age, they master them quickly and become very proficient and responsible.
it was the same atittude back in the AIDS early days when we asked gays to do the same as now, stop what they were doing, get tested, get treated. But no, couldn’t do it and now we have 37 million aids carriers.
I think that's the whole crux of the matter.
If it hit hard and fast, many more people would die who could be saved with the right medical equipment available.
If there's not enough equipment for all the cases, those late comers die.

From what I’ve read, this report may be what is influencing POTUS.
I’ve been following those studies as well. The medical community has got their hands in a lot of experiments right now. Which is fine by me. I just don’t want to be the Guinea pig.
I’ll be a guinea pig at staying home on the ranch! I’ve got eggs and milk for two weeks, maybe three, and my meds in the mail. As long as the grocer delivers after that, I’m good.
