then why aren’t we all dead?
Makes sense and it makes the death rate way lower than suspected.... Much less then 1%. So if you’re not old and decrepit like most of us are, then you’ll be fine.
um.. that means 498400 have it and didnt even get sick from it!
ROFL
Which just means that the rate of death (or whatever it is called officially) for this episode is extremely low.
Good news then!
Its suspected that the young and even very young are carriers and dont show dramatic signs and symptoms if any.
My prayer has been this would be the ugly month and things would turn in April.
“then why arent we all dead?”
80-85% will have symptoms.
5% will have severe symptoms and many will need hospitalization.
1% will fall into mortality risk based on current statistics.
The ChiCom virus is far more contagious and deadly than the flu.
Probably, eh? Wow. You don’t get more certain than that.
Dang that puts a crimp on the media panic program.
That means many just aren’t showing symptoms yet.
So if this is true, then the death rate is a lot lower than what is being reported.
Yes that is what it would mean. People who get very sick and die from it are far more likely to be counted than people who have no symptoms or symotoms so minor that they will not suspect they have it. Its plausible the virus is far more wide soread although far less deadly than thought. Time will tell.
The most profound prognostication since Surgeon Buck Private Joycelyn Elders prophesied that “we’re all probably going to die from something some day.”
Professor horses ass.
Johns Hopkins professor says up to 500,000 Americans have coronavirus
...
Wouldn’t this mean that the fatality rate is close to the seasonal flu?
That would make the current death rate .00015%
I was told last month all heck was going to break loose in a week. Yet here we are today still counting daily American deaths on our fingers.
So far the only devastation is economic. Just this morning Starbucks went drive through only and United cutting half its capacity. Never let a crisis go to waste...
