I've hardly watched OAN, although in my small town I have seen a car with an OAN bumper sticker (I forget specifically what it said).
Anyway, has OAN aired *any* live breaking coverage of the coronavirus crisis, Trump's and Pence's comments on the same, etc.
For that matter, how reliable is OAN about *any* breaking news of serious import?
And what do certain FReepers find appealing about OAN? Is it pro-Trump/anti-Dem?

DO they cover breaking news regarding coronavirus? They cover the coronavirus, and that includes any new news that has been reported. But they don't report it with an agenda attached. Yes they are pro Trump, but more importantly, they are pro America and Americans. All I can say is watch it and make your own decisions. What I like you may not like. But if you are asking if I recommend OAN, the answer is a solid yes.
Much better than FOX anymore. Pro Trump, covers more than the latest “fad” news item.
OAN does an exceptional job of reporting (and NOT commenting on) the news. They give you the TRUTH!

Journalism in general is about bad news. That means that, from the gitgo, journalism is negative. All journalists know this.What they do not admit is that when someone who knows s/he is negative claims to be objective, s/he is redefining objectivity to mean negativity.
To claim that “negativity is objectivity" is to engage in cynicism. Journalism is cynical about society and simultaneously naive about its near opposite, government. And that is why there is so much “liberalism” oozing out of every pore of every reporter.
As Rumsfeld told Bush 43, “First reports are always wrong.” So paying attention to “breaking news” - certainly, news which you are powerless to take instant action to ameliorate - is kinda stupid.
