How much live breaking news re COVID-19 has OAN shown? [vanity]
foreverfree | 3/16/20 | foreverfree

I've hardly watched OAN, although in my small town I have seen a car with an OAN bumper sticker (I forget specifically what it said).

Anyway, has OAN aired *any* live breaking coverage of the coronavirus crisis, Trump's and Pence's comments on the same, etc.

For that matter, how reliable is OAN about *any* breaking news of serious import?

And what do certain FReepers find appealing about OAN? Is it pro-Trump/anti-Dem?

This FNC viewer wants to know.

OAN reporters have been asking questions at Presidential news conferences. They have reached a high level of credibility.

Yes... of course they have been covering the COVID-19 crisis. It’s been the lead story for quite awhile now. They cover ALL kinds of news... including things the MSM will never touch. Things like corruption in Ukraine and the slimeyUS politicians who’ve been feeding at the trough. (not just Biden)

I like to watch news that is relevant. I don’t watch virus news. If I want to know about the virus, I go here:

WTH are are spewing about?
You are actually complaining because OAN has not been as hysterical and and has not set out to create panic and tank the market like CNN and MSDNC?
For my money, OAN is by far the best news network out there right now. Period. Certainly better than Fox.

Yes, OAN is excellent. My cable provider doesn’t carry it, but I watch it at a couple of friends’ houses. If you want real “fair and balanced,” tune it in if it’s available.

OAN is the best news going. Jack Posobiec had the skinny on the outbreak of the virus long before anyone else thought about it.

Good, balanced coverage.

Better than Faux News by a mile.

The Johns Hopkins site is very good as well. Last thing I need is to be watching some network that keeps droning about the stupid coronavirus all bloody day.

I think the Coronavirus ‘pandemic’, has been created by the Main Stream News. So...we have a new virus, and the HERD, humanity needs to develop the immunnity it the different nations... people need to build up anti bodies, and have a self immunity that fights for their own bodies. The sooner the better we all get exposed...the better. WHY shut down airports for the inevitable. We are all someday soon going to be exposed.. and as always some of the people with no defense die. This is very natural. Why should it empty toilet paper bins in supermarkets and close borders? Yeah OANN.

Your vanity over not being able to find enough virus news is not the first on FR.

Really, I cannot understand it. If I’ve read one article, I’ve read them all. One per day from a credible source is enough.

This hysteria is just not a mentally healthy. One does not have to read that crap all day long. If you get too hysterical you will make poor decisions regarding keeping safe or just about anything else.

My advice is chill. If you like FNC, then just go there about once or twice a day. And just chill out and use common sense to protect your self.

That’s probably the second most irritating part of this thing, for me...

The firs most irritating part is the shutting down of everyday activity.

I get OANN by streaming. Costs $4.99 a month through KlowdTV.

Their news truly is fair and balanced, unlike Fox. How incredible it is to sit and watch and not be carpet bombed with Orange Man Bad 60/60/24/7/365. You can actually learn something. Fox News is not much different than the MSM, in that they run with the same headlines the Dems want amplified. It's as if they're trying to steal some of the audience away from MSNBC.

I give Fox credit for their fine prime time opinion shows. How ironic, their opinion shows actually contain more important news than their so-called news programs throughout the day.

Back to OANN... Anyone with internet access can watch it through KlowdTV. Cost $4.99 a month. I bought a smart TV in December with Roku built in, and was able to easily get the KlowdTV login icon added. I have a few older TV's (purchased in 2011) that I watch OANN with, but I had to buy a $30 Roku Express box for each TV. To use the Roku Express box, your TV must have an HDMI port (as many flat screen TV's have)

A major benefit of OANN is they carry all Trump rallies in their entirety.

In case you're wondering, no, I do not get paid by OANN for promoting their service,

... and Fox News, which now seems to be all-virus-all-the-time.

OAN is very patriotic. They are not “flashy” like other networks and do not have near the commentary as other media. It’s a lot like the old days of national 24 hour network news where the cycle start over and you see a lot of the same stuff, only updated. For me, it is refreshing.

Pro-Trump? Yea, sort of... Pro America is what they are. It’s pretty straight faced news without a lot of slant or opinion. NOW, it does feel conservative but only because it contrasts so hard with just about everything else out there.

...my opinion.

I give, what is OAN? ................. Cable news One America News Network. On Direct TV it is channel 347. Been watching it now for over 2 years. All refreshing young news girls, which I refer to as HS Newscasters. OK so I’m over 80 now, and young is relative. Its a relaxing news, if Elvis was alive, he would have saved a lot of ammo watching it. Its more news and less opinions. Go for it!

One America News.

It is the latest competitor in the 24 hour cable news network. They are gaining steam and viewers. They are old school America Loving straight laced delivery of news.

I was pleasantly surprised when nitwit Bimentia had his Press Conference last week to plagiarize parts of PDT Coronavirus plan that OAN didn't switch over to the pasty faced child molesters Presser.
