I’d think it’s more due to there being little/no testing until this week.
The real problem starts when that percent that needs to be hospitalized are hospitalized - and the new cases just keep on piling up behind them. “Little Italy” coming up.

Sorry, but that;s delusional wishful thinking. On Feb 26th, President Trump said “And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.”
